In the current Generation of games, I'd have to say the PS4 is the best.

For me, its going to be the PS, and it will always be that way without a doubt. My 1st 2 consoles were all Nintendo but PS has always been for me, whether its was the 1, 2, 3, PSP, or Vita. Heck, my Vita is probably now the best console that I have ever owned and the PS2 was just amazing, so I think it will be a long time before I pick one of the others, especially Xbox, can't stand it, only play Xbox mobile games.

For me, I would have to agree with both of the previous users that responded in here and say that the PS4 is the best out of the newest generation of consoles. For the longest time, my PS3 did me wonders and it was my favorite console from that generation by far, and both the PSX and PS2 were awesome starts for Sony. It doesn't look like the PS4 will disappoint me either. I absolutely love what it has given me so far.

However, I will mention that the NES is still ( and will probably always be ) my favorite console of all time. I've obviously been playing it the longest, and I will be forever greatful for this site that allows me to play them whenever I want to.

For me, I definitely would have to go with the Wii U. Why do I say this? Well, that's because to me, it has the best overall library of video games. You've got everything from platformers like Super Mario 3D World and Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze to amazing action games like Bayonetta 2. There are way more games that are worth buying on the Wii U than on the other 2 consoles. It's a shame that it's not doing better sales wise.

I think that Wii U is the best.  I've always (I don't know why) more enjoyed games for Wii U.

I have little doubt that the Wii U will win this poll because Vizzed in general tends to slant toward Nintendo. The reasons are likely because the retro preferences and the fact that NES and SNES were out years before PSX. Also because Nintendo (sorry, but what I'm about to say is true) is more of a kid's company anymore, and most of Vizzed is made up of minors.

Now I'm not saying playing Nintendo is childish or that their systems are kiddy and unfit for hardcore adult gamers, but the fact remains that Nintendo is targeting children and adults with their nostalgia glasses on. I can respect that though, and I can respect Nintendo fans so long as they respect others. Hey, I plan on buying an "NX" if it's appealing in any way at all, so no, I have no hate for the company, though I do find them aggravating and lacking in business sense since the days of the Wii started.


Modern day systems? PS4 and Vita are surprisingly neck and neck in my opinion. But since you said "big three in consoles" and handhelds aren't consoles, I'll say PS4 hands down. It has the best and most diverse library and has something to appeal to every gamer who will open their eyes and minds long enough to see.

FPS fan? PS4 has that.
Platformer fan? PS4 has plenty of those.
TPS fan? PS4 has that too.
Adventure fan? PS4 has it.
Indie fan? PS4 is huge for Indies.
Action fan? Mystery fan? Racing fan? MMO fan? Puzzle fan? RPG fan? Strategy fan? Simulation fan? Hack 'n' Slash fan? etc. PS4 has all of those, and they have good ones at that.

I'm sure Wii U and XB1 has good games too, I just personally feel that PS4 has the best. That's just my two cents though. To each their own.

ZeegSerpentine : This may sound unoriginal but I think the WII U. It's the only console I got out of the 3 and it Nintendo did produce a appreciable amount of games. They include Super Smash Bros. WII U (my favorite ), Super Mario 3D World, and the most current one, Super Mario Maker.

I think it's safe to say that the ps4 has the biggest abundance of awesome exclusives. And nintendo magic is wonderful for the Wii as well.
They're all great; it just depends on what exclusives you prefer.

Before I explain why I voted for PS4, I just wanted to say that I would have chosen PC. Since we're limited to consoles, I'd easily choose PS4.

Wii U has a lot of great exclusives, but I prefer amazing game play more than playing the 400th iteration of Mario or Zelda. Don't get me wrong, I love them, but I just have to pick PS4. Now, I don't own a Wii U, but I own every other console. I've played the Wii U at a buddy's house multiple times, and it seems more like a casual, laid back console. I am a person who likes to sit down and zone out - a hardcore gamer if you will. So, for this I find the PS4 to be built for that specific type of gamer.

The XBOX ONE is slowly getting better, but at the end of the day, I personally find the horsepower in the PS4 to be noticeable in more than a few situations. Plus, I've been a Sony fan for a very long time, so there's a slight bias already there. I don't really like XBOX exclusives, other than Gears of War, but I absolutely love Naughty Dog from PS4. Any game they release is just amazing, they never settle for good enough, and they don't seem to milk their franchises. (Sure, Uncharted has a 4th game coming, but I'd imagine they'll develop Last of Us 2, and possibly start a new franchise for this generation as they have done in each generation)

I'm a bit surprised to see that the poll shows no support (at the time of this reply) for the XBOX ONE. It's still weird seeing people like Sony again, because when I had a PS3 - people made sure to let me know that "Xbox 360 is amazing, oh my gosh wow - it's great, like wow!"

That's my 2 cents.

Probably the WiiU. PS4 as a close second.

The only thing I don't like about the WiiU is the name.

It has the best selection of controllers and 1st-party titles.

PS4 has a nicer selection of exclusives, but lots of them aren't out yet.

Also, Sony consoles have always had lots of JRPGs.
And I don't care for most JRPGs.

Skilledtree : To put it into proper perspective, the reason why no one has chosen the Box one, is simply because of how far it has bombed and how its just a very un-liked counsel now. Granted, the Box 360 is and always will be a great counsel, but the Box one has just bombed sense it first released. And to be fair, if you wanted to play the so called exclusive titles for Box 360 and the X one, you could use a PC. And again, the reason why I didn't include the PC is because I don't technically count it as a gaming counsel.

Wii U is winning because everyone on Vizzed is smitten with cute things and/or a little kid who has only played Nintendo consoles
XBOX ONE is losing because it just downright sucks
PS4 is in second place because there are some people with good judgement

But I'm totally PC Master Race except for the fact that PS4 has Kingdom Hearts 1.5, 2.5, 2.8 and 3.
