Is it possible to beat Mantis in this game despite it being an emulation? Cause I beat my friends copy a long time ago by doing the controller port switch. But with this being emulation I do not see how that is possible.

Maybe you can switch to controller 2 in the vizzed plugin (I haven't tried it yet). But I heard that you can also destroy the statues at the sides with the Famas, or even quicker with C4, and he will not be able to read your mind anymore.

I was also curious about this, and it's the main reason I never played the game on here.

It would kind of stink to get all the way there, and have no way to defeat him. I'm not sure if there's even an option to switch which controller slot you want to emulate.

Yes, this is possible.
First you have to clear the configuration for the controller in port 1.
Double click the screen and press ESC until you get thru all the controls.

After that, you are gonna need to config port 2 by pressing Alt+Shift+2
Configure the controls the same way you would in port 1 by following the prompts to assign buttons....
And that's basically it! :3

Just make sure you clear the 2nd controller after you beat Psycho Mantis by pressing Alt+Shift+2 again and pressing ESC until all the controls are cleared.

Then reconfig port 1 as you normally would. (double click screen).

Let me know if that works. :3

Without the controller switch, its nearly impossible...the colonel tells you to switch them...
You would have to beat Mantis extremely fast before you run out of stun grenades...

I would go with my method/what the colonel suggests.
