Welp, I have been on the site for 4 years now, + 2 days late. 

I had planned on giving everybody on my friends list a special shout out, but I'll have to do it tomorrow night because I have things to do in the morning.

Congrats on 4 years thing! It's amazing you have been here that long already, after 22 days my 4th anniversary will be!
What was personally your best period on Vizzed? Was there a certain day you really liked? Or a certain month?

Wow, that's quite an accomplishment! You're so close to hitting 10,000 CP! It would have been awesome if you did that on your 4 year anniversary! I hope you can stay on Vizzed for more years!

EideticMemory : I do actually. I had a random urge to play Mario Kart 64, so I looked it up on Google. First few links were crap, because you had to download big file sized emulators. I eventually clicked on this one, played for about half an hour, and decided to make an account. I didn't make my first post for about 8 months. I can't remember why it took me so long to do so. 
juuldude : Best memory of Vizzed, you mean? Probably when I was a staff for a few months before joining the Army. That was pretty cool. I was able to help out a lot of people, which is exactly what I wanted to do. 
PacmanandMariofan : I'm working on 10k CP right now. As of right now, before I submit this post, I am 2.0 CP away from 10,000 , so I will be making that thread here shortly. 


I am currently working on the shout outs while I am watching the Extended Edition of Avatar, so hopefully I'll have it done by the time the movie is over. I have about 120 people to do or so.

Congrats on 4 years here dude. It's been a rocky at times, but the point is, you are here now and been making good on your promises.

I do appreciate the kind words. People often forget that I do have a job to do. Enforcing rules that are not my own. Although I might not always see eye to eye with them, I do have to follow them and make sure everyone else is. That being said, I do want people to have fun here, I mean this is a VIDEO GAME site.

I never try to hold a grudge with people, but sometimes people make it hard when they are repeatedly breaking the same rules. If they will hear me out I will do the same. If people respect me, I respect them. Pretty simple really.

Here's to 4 more years on the site!

thing1 : I really appreciate you helping me out with our Vizzed Pick 'Em League this year. Looking back on it now, I would do it all over again if I had to. I still think we could have had more entries, but I guess you can't ask too much when its your first year running it. Hopefully next year we can at least double our entries.

And as for my wife, she has already heard of Nightcore and has a couple songs from them...and its dubstep, so of course she likes it. She also told me that she doesn't even care about you anymore XD

As for our Pick 'Em League, I am hoping that I can get Davideo7 to make an announcement for it. We could pay him Viz to make it happen if we have to. The goal is to have 16 people next year though, but if interest is uber high, and I don't see that happening, 32 will be the max.

I really do appreciate your kind words, man. If I'm being honest, it kinda surprised me to hear that I've had a positive impact on you, but I'm really thankful for that. I'm also very happy to see huge positive growth in you recently, and I'm happy to call you a friend.

In all seriousness, I realized when I went to reply to you just how much you impacted me when I first got here. First your wonderfully kind response when I announced my temporary absence in December 2012...I'll never forget how when all of those people were saying meaningless things like "Oh no! We'll really miss you!" you said it best with the simple reply "Well that leaves one less person to have to worry about in the VCS now". I'm sorry *cries* I just get so emotional over your concern... :')

And then when I joined in on the March '13 VCS (and won! ) your competition pushed me not only to the 1,000 post mark and my all time single day record of eighty-plus posts, but also helped push me to get more involved and led to where I am today both on Vizzed and in real life, as I met my game dev team members through Vizzed. So thanks, man. Thanks for being almost as good at the VCS as I was. xD I had to say it.

First things first, thanks  for the shout out, man. And once again, congratulations. Now, I'll answer your question, I didn't retry since the last failure. I decided to move on to something else and I pretty much made it without this piece of paper. I found a job actually for these holidays and a friend of mine let me stay at his home while I'll be working. The first week is guaranteed, I work from this Monday to Friday. It can be extended to the second week depending of personal reasons, reasons I didn't want to know. But at least, I found something without that piece of paper (that we most likely give to the driver nowadays in my country and, suddenly afterwards, he or she is starting to do some crap and is not quite responsible for his or her acts on the road, just saying ). I have everything in order to go there, mostly the bus. So, why should I even bother to get it right now? My priority would be to live in a city and work in the same city. Getting the driving license is a secondary goal in my existence. I'm not saying I don't want to retry. Someday, I might do it.
