There were over 120 submissions in this competition and it was a lot of fun for those of us who got a chance to listen and rate these songs.

I invested a ton of hours into hosting this competition, tallying up the results, etc... but I definitely didn't do it all alone, I'd like to give thanks to those who helped vote (whether it me in the staff forum or during the live stream event) and also thanks to Pokefreak219 for helping me out with some of the tally work.

For those who are wondering, the total score of each song is based on stream votes + each additional staff vote (which is why the left most number is the largest). The user's score is the sum of all the vote points among all their videos.

I was just curious on how the whole point system works or, more or less, how you determined how many points to give each submission

Pokefreak219 : I summed up all of the staff vote points with the total vote points from the stream. This is how I determined the total vote points from the stream.

The users in the stream voted on the submissions based on a scale from 1-3 with 1 adding no points to the song, 2 adding 1 point and 3 adding 2 points. Now some songs had more votes than others so it didn't seem fair to base it off of the total points for each submission from the stream so I took the average rating for each song (which you of course calculated for me), subtracted that by 1, and then multiplied that number by 10 (the average song had around 10 votes during the stream).

Davideo7 : Oh, I knew there was something i was forgetting. Thing1 also helped me when i was calculating the 1st part that I did since my computer crashed and i didn't think i would hold up until 6 am doing it and he was the only one that i knew that was online... So I thank him as well

To stay on topic... I really meant to be there on Tuesday night, but I realized I had a Bible Study that evening at the last minute. :/ I wish I could have helped out!!

mrfe : He's definitely not beat around the bush, he's asked me multiple times for a staff position lately lol.

Well next month I'll probably do another one and tally up the results in a live stream again at the end of the month so hopefully you can make it next time. I'll hopefully find a better time and day for it and give a better notice as well.

But yeah, I did help Pokefreak out because she was all like " I have to get this done. I have to. David is gonna kill me if I don't. " So I told her " Uhh... want me to help? I am not doing anything right now . "

Well, I'm not surprised with the results. With my score actually. This was the possible reward I could get for submitting all that "redux". Anyway, congratulations to the winners. That was a great competition.

Laian : You ranked high considering you only submitted 4 songs and each of those songs scored pretty high. If you would've came up with 6 more songs just as good you could've possibly won.

I was really into this contest since the beginning, like any other stuff actually. I had more submissions stuck in my mind. I didn't know that rough time would come so fast honestly. I could manage to stay focused on one thing in priority. So, between the contests and the walkthrough, I decided to choose the second option and completely neglected the first one
