Really AJ or RD? Do you even realize what the question is? Its toughest pony not toughest mane 6 so it can be anypony. So the pony id say is toughest would obviously be Big Macintosh. Imagine if he were to buck you in the face or really anywhere? He would send you flying and the shock would most likely kill you. There is also that testosterone pony from hurricane fluttershy who rawrs "yeeeeaaahhh" but I don't think hes all that tough just more intimidating.

Well, due to recent events I am changing my opinion here, Twilight Sparkle is definitely the strongest pony, or at the very least was temporarily? Either way, my opinions going to Twilight, I mean she's always been crazy strong with magic, to those who are up to date with the series I mean you saw her, absolutely off the charts in normal terms.

Not to mention "God mode" or the Elements of Harmony which she has some power over.

I'm going to have to say Pinkie Pie's sister, Mud Pie. She is way faster than Rainbow Dash and stronger than Apple Jack. But I understand this only happened cause Mud was trying to save her sister from a falling boulder. It really surprised me she was able to pummel a boulder within seconds. I don't think Apple Jack has ever done that.
