It has been proven a lot of times before that video game music has a lot of potential, I don't know what everyone else says but I think that video game music is the best music around (in other words, is better than radio) and there are a few times where you listen to a song in a video game that is SO good, that you can't help but listen to it over and over again.

At the moment, my favorite video game song of all time is this one (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AkzV1E-x3cE), is a little hard to explain why I love that song so much, but...we have an EXTREMELY EPIC intro, the awesome choir, the electric guitar that appears after a while, and the fact that that music sounds both epic and hopeless, it sounds like you are about to lose, but...at the same time...it sounds like you are going to win, and I haven't even mentioned the details about the fight itself, such as the fact that the fight takes place at the highest part of a golden palace, this isn't my #2 but it's a little close (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tUAR-ih_YI4
)...so, yeah, tell me which one is your favorite ever...I know this is a question hard to answer but I'm  still curious to hear some people opinions...and in case you may be wondering, yes, Rosenkreuzstilette Freudenstachel is an extremely obscure game, it's a Mega Man clone by the way.

i like alot of the Metroid songs, especially the fanfares. its hard for me to choose one, but if i had to i would say that Kraids Lair is a really good one. Phendranna drifts and Hydro dynamo are close too. lol i feel i know personally how good these songs are because i have laerned to play them on the instruments that i play.
