I'm deeply sorry for your loss. I too recently lost my grandfather, however we were not close because of a language barrier. My grandfather was orphaned at an early age, fought in WWII,and later had to get a divorce and remarry to my grandmother. I have some comfort in knowing his last days were a happier time for him, with my cousins keeping him company and all.

I was fortunate though that I had a few grandparents that were still around when I entered my twenties. I just try to remember the good times and try to remember the things that they taught me and advice they gave me. It may not seem like it right now but in time things might be a little easier to deal with. The best advice I can give you is to remember the good times and know that he’s watching over you.
