Bowser kidnapped princess peach again!? Don't worry, Mario and his sidekick brother luigi fight for the princess again.

The graphics are good, but why not a 10? This game started on the NES, but the SNES since the super nintendo is a 16-bit console, super nintendo managed to stick out for some graphical improvement.

There is good sound and music, but it isn't a 10 because the NES had tons of limitations for its time, once again, super nintendo toped it out.

It is likely that you will pick the game up again, but it is not a 10 because it is tricky to beat.

I like the story, but it is the same as super Mario bros 1 with the princess kidnapped again by bowser.

This game is tricky, the first couple of worlds are easy, but suddently, it gets pretty difficult especially on world 8 where it gets pratically insane with difficulty.

This is a long game, unfortuantly, it is very long to beat warplessly, there is no saves, no password system, or stage select code at all, so you have to beat it in 1 session, but there are secrets.

Overall, it is very great, it features alot of things that was never introduced in the original Mario games on NES, such as diagonal slopes, sliding, new powerups such as the tanooki, hammer, kuribo's shoe, and more, it also featured a slower time, secret whistles, and more!

I do love this game, it increased a lot of population of Mario fans around the world! This game can never be forgotten, but is has a unforgetable secret.

Mario 3 is quite the classic. You can't get enough of this game since its such a great classic. If you had a NES back then, this is your every weekend. Playing Mario 3 day in and day out. This game is god.

pacman1755 : It is such a classic to the history of video gaming, it is so unforgetable that you have your "eyes glued to the TV" when you play. By the way, you have "Ravering Syndrome" today!? I am not even gonna go for trooperness A+ or anything other than "1/35th vizzed syndrome".

Super Mario Bros 3 was always a favorite of mine, it's by far my second favorite NES game with the first one of course being the original Legend of Zelda game.

Mario 3 was always one of those games that you could play at any time because you didn't need to be in any mood to play it, and you'll still have fun.

Yes, the difficulty is a problem, and it isn't a joke, it's OUTRAGEOUSLY HARD when you near yourself to the last world!
World 8 can make me go *throws down controller in rage*, that is all I need to say for that.

Well the game itself isn't too bad at all as a matter of fact, the last stage can be quite a zebra, if you know how to navigate it.

You know, Mario games are great and all, but most of them that are not about Mario kart are about Princess Peach getting kidnapped by Bowser, and Mario has to save her. It giets kind of repetitive, but at least each time it gets a little better.

Super Mario Bros 3 is one of my favorite games of all time. It really does set the bar high as far as platformer games are concerned. I will never get sick of playing this game.

One game I would suggest you playing and possibly reviewing would be "Battle Kid - Fortress of Peril" for the NES.

Great game. Hard as hell, but fun. Was developed and released by one guy in 2010.

I think I have played this game at some point or another... I have just played so many Mario games that it takes a while to remember.

Of course, most of them were a several years ago.

I have played a bunch of mario games in my life, I felt like perfering Super Mario Bros 1 NES.
