Super Mario Bros. 3
Here's another classic installment of the Mario Series. Bowser is back and with him is his Koopalings children reeking havoc, stealing the magical wands from the kings turning them into creatures as well kidnapping the princess once again. Now mario must run and jump his way through each level, stomping on goombas and throwing koopa shells to make it to the ship to take back the stolen wands and rescue the princess from Bowser's clutches and stop his wicked children from their mischievous deeds
There you'll have the return of the Super Mushroom and Fire Flower and among other old and new items within this title. More notable is the Frog suit that lets you swim smoothly in some levels that require you to swim and the Raccoon tail that allows you to fly and hit your enemies with your tail. New items can be attained such as the Flute that allows you to warp to any level presented to you as well and shoe that allows you to hope across a gap of miniature white piranha flowers unscathed.
Graphics-8
The graphics is one of the first things I've noticed. It is a very colorful title when you look at it and very easy to enjoy the 2D plat former of it's different levels of colorful joys. Not like the previous title of Super Mario. It's not blocky, of course it had been advanced with better technology with better looks. One of the great improvement of the NES.
Sound-8
The sound is great and fits well with different catchy tunes in each level. You will enjoy listening while traveling a grassy plain or jumping across many blocks in the dessert. The sound improved since the blocky era of the first title in my opinion. There's hardly any dull music or tunes when you feel like taking your time to collect all the coins of the level and enjoying the sound of stomping goombas that crosses your path.
Addictiveness-6
If you're a big fan of Mario. Then you'll enjoy the few new varieties that you can attain during your run through of this 2D classic. You'll spend hours jumping on goombas and throwing koopa shells into unsuspecting enemies, but after your first time through this title the thrill soon becomes old and the routine is the same, but still one of the great Mario title of the NES to remember your childhood gaming days.
Story-5
Just like with all Mario titles. It's Mario's job to rescue the kidnapped Princess Toadstool from the clutches of Bowser, but this time. He brought along his troublesome children to put a stop to Mario's attempt. Now, Mario must also rescue the kings by retrieving the magical wands from Bowserlings and turn the king back into their old selves and give Mario a letter from the princess with helpful items.
Depth-3
Not much can be offered in this title. With exceptions of few hidden areas and new items it holds, but mostly it's a quick run through of the levels and you've completed the game. So don't expect a ton of hidden rooms or levels, because if you beaten the game. You've pretty much done everything.
Difficulty-5
It haves it share of frustrations with some annoying obstetrical to get by and some enemies that just gets in your way to slow you down, but all in all. It's a fairly easy game and easy to get used to the patterns. So you'll have no problem getting pass each levels to complete the game.

Store up flowers and mushrooms to use later on. Play game-show type bonus rounds! Go back to that last screen and get a mushroom! Pause to take a break, then continue where you left off!
Super Mario Bros. 3 is fun to play alone, or team up with a buddy to prolong the adventure!
Super Mario Bros 3 Description: Bowser is back, and along with the Bowser kids, he's out to spoil Mario's day once again. This time, along with nabbing the Princess, the Bowser crew have also taken the magic wands from the Kings of each land and turned them into creatures.
It's up to Mario and Luigi to get back the magic wands, defeat Bowser, and save the Princess all before the day is done.Old and new power-ups abound in each level for the Mario Brothers, including the return of the Super Mushroom and Fire Flower, plus the new power-ups including the frog suit, the warp flute, and the most important of all, the leaf, which allows the player to fly and attack enemies with your tail.

Nintendo hits you smack in the face with yet another Super Mario Bros game. Bowser is BACK, again, and has kidnapped the princess, as always. You must go through a series of 8 worlds to finally rescue the Princess. Please, do not pay attention to the people saying this has stuff to do with Satan, and Hell, and blahdeeblah. Of course World 8 looks like Hell! What did you expect? Pretty Pink Pony Land? Aaanyway, it's a great game, EPIC music, great bosses. I give it a 10.

Anyone would like this.LITTERALY!Many enimies and bosses,even levels will keep you on your toes.New power-ups such as the Power Leaf and Frog Suit will help along the way.8 challenging worlds await,With a Koopaling at the end of each world.(except W8) then at the end Princess Toadstool did what the Toads did in SMB1.Then she says "JUST KIDDING!!!" HOLY S***!!!! it's fun, it's hard, it's trippy... it's smooth......

after a couple more months of sleepless nights in front of the TV, you get to king koopa, AAHHH he's jumping on ME!! wait... the ground just broke... hmmmm... It's a long shot...
BOOM!!! he falls! you WIN! HOLY FRIGGIN DAMN! it's 4:00a.m. and koopa has been defeated! you meet the princess ans she says "thank you mario, but our princess is in another castle... JUST KIDDING!"
the victory was just shattered for a split second by the princess' humor, then you see a long show of what you just did...
...yay. pure bliss. though nothing can recreate this magic moment, the game is infinity playable. I just hope miyamoto makes a full 3D remake featuring everything in this game, but with like, 3D exploration and WII graphics... yeah...

i think this game is awesome because u are mario and u have to kill a lot of baddies such as the koopalings and bowser so u can obviously save toadstool and wait there are secrets in the game (i bet you already knew that -_-) and thus using cool new stuff on ur journey through eight levels with a lot of stinkin' mini levels. also you can explore the whole mushroom kingdum.

Madison: The way I do that stage is to run back and forth on the starting platform as Raccoon Mario and fly off to the right and I come across a pipe as my flight ends, I go through that passage and exit out of the pipe just before the red paratroopa...

Dang it. Short of that first place spot by 12 seconds. I know exactly where it happened. I didn't start Bowser's Castle with the leaf powerup. Could have shaved off those 12 second on the large lava pit with falling blocks.

I can get to that castle level at about the 10 minute mark, so if I can get through that and can beat Bowser within 45 seconds, I should be able to beat it in 15 minutes.

The only level I keep having my screw up in now is that mini castle level on world 8. Not Bowser's Castle, but the one after level 8-3. Although sometimes, 8-1 screws me up because you have to have a leaf to get through it quickly.

at the first castle in world 1 get the block that has the super leaf and then fly next to the ceiling above until you start moving through it outside the screen. keep running and when you stop, hit up you c=get a warp whistle
