My favorite movie is Mulan. You know. The Disney movie. I know it's childish, but I love it. In fact, It's rare for me to ever watch a Disney movie and say that it truly sucked. Disney movies are classics. I like mulan because it is about a girl being strong. In the other Disney princess movies, the princess is always in trouble and has to be saved by the prince. This time, the girl saves herself, the emperor, and all of china. She didn't have to have a man do the dirty work for her. That's what I like most about it. It also has =great songs and is really funny. If you have never seen it I highly recommend it. You know how Disney only releases movies from the vault every few years? Well I'm so excited because Mulan Is about to be released from the vault, along with Mulan II. I actually used to watch the movie over and over again. Seriously. It was like non stop. I actually did a project on the movie for school the other day. We had to make a presentation showing how the story followed "the hero's journey". I was supposed to watch the movie again and then do the project, but my DVD was scratched up because my little sister got a hold of it. I was so mad! As soon as the movie is released again, you better believe I'm gonna buy it.
Mulan rulez! lol!

You know, I think I answered this before... but I have finally come up with my #1 favorite movie of all time.

The movie is called "Pump Up The Volume", it has Christian Slater in it.

The movie is basically a MORALE reminder and points out the OBVIOUS, it kind of speaks to my heart & soul when I watch it... makes me realize a lot of things and that more people should watch this movie... maybe it would help people mature up and stop fighting amongst each other.

Along with teaching certain people to take responsibility for the things they have done, rather than constantly running from their mistakes... or using something to protect them like a pansy.

Hey there! .. !

Interesting Poll/Question! I've really hard to choose just one but I'd have to say The Shawshank Redemption is my favourite movie of all time! it's utterly amazing, it's about a prison break and I love prison breaks. Violence. Humor. It's the best. Morgan Freeman is one main actors in the movie and he plays his role very well. He's the one who sneaks stuff in and out of the prison and gets paid in cigarettes. Great Stuff.

If you haven't already seen the movie, I recommend that you go and watch it!

Easy choice for me: Spaceballs. Mel Brooks is a comedic genius and anything that parodies Star Wars is just an instant classic. Plus I wish they had gone through with the "sequel" or Spaceballs 2: The search for more money. "May the Schwartz be with you".

Only one person mentioned my favorite movie of all time, and that's Pulp Fiction. Great actors and an awesome plot, and it leaves a little latch at the end leaving you wanting more. My favorite comedy movie is Monty Python and the Holy Grail, it is an absolute riot. I can recite scenes of it by heart. "What, ridden on a horse?" "Yes." "You're using coconuts!" "What?" "You've got two empty halves of coconut and you're bangin' em' together!"

Very difficult to choose between Red Dawn and Sherlock Holmes, for me. I guess I'd have to give Sherlock Holmes the edge on this one. Red Dawn was my favorite movie ever until Sherlock Holmes came out. Robert Downey Jr. is one of my favorite actors ever, right next to Johnny Depp. Both of the SH movies were really good, but I liked the first one a lot better. It was also the first movie that my wife and I saw together on our very first date. And I don't think anybody could've played the part of Watson better than Jude Law. This movie had a little bit of everything: comedy, action, mystery (of course), scary parts, cool parts, funny parts, etc.

Probably Star Wars Episode 6 Return of the Jedi, as it was the end of the saga and one of the best films in the saga too.  My favorite scene would probably be the Luke vs Darth Vader fight at the end, it is such a great epic fight.

That's too hard to answer in terms of just one movie, and that could change so much in my case, but I have a pretty solid top ten as of now.

Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade is more of a nostalgia movie, but it's still really good in its own rite and it really is the best in the series.

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind is one of my favorite romantic sort of movies, and I make it a tradition of sorts to watch it around Valentine's Day every year because it's set around that time.

Blade Runner is probably my favorite sci-fi as of now. Really fascinating, thought-provoking, sometimes disturbing dystopia.

Porco Rosso is one of my two favorite Miyazaki films, and I love because of how subtle and effortlessly-told the story is, and the lighthearted mood of the film.

There Will Be Blood is a really interesting dark film about the oil boom of the early 20th century based on an Upton Sinclair novel and it's incredibly well-written and shot.

Princess Mononoke is my favorite Miyazaki film as of now and it has a great balance between entertainment and pressing issues about environmentalism and all that. I love the complexity of the characters in the film and how there isn't any black or white in terms of good and evil.

Pulp Fiction is just hilariously funny and the dialogue is incredible. Even with gratuitous language and violence, it's just so well-crafted in terms of plot and the conversational dialogue is somewhat captivating that it's very grounded in reality and very entertaining.

Grave of the Fireflies is one of the most heartbreaking movies I've ever watched, and it's probably the only film that's really made me sob at certain points. Its really realistic portrayal of World War II Japan seems to contradict the fact that it's an animated film.

Pierrot le fou is so tongue-in-cheek and witty that despite it being somewhat transparently satirical, it's still incredibly enjoyable and French New Wave has always been fascinating to me because of the revolutionary cinematic techniques and the avant-garde.

Chungking Express is a incredibly charming film about romantic longing and has a great aesthetic as well as genuine, effective performances from the actors. The writing is spectacular and is very intimate and resonant.

Can't pick one, so I picked ten xD.
