Well not sure how much you weigh.. I'm at 165 and can do roughly 50, also benching 205. General rule of thumb to be able to get more push-ups in is to be able to bench at least 10 pounds above your own body-weight.

Yeah, you should be able to do at least 10-20 more; unless you don't do any weight lifting, then 19 or 20 is pretty much normal.

b4 a month in jail for no insurance and registration and the fines I couldn't pay I could do 7 the first time I tried in there. By the time I left I was doing sets of 50 and can still bust out a couple sets of 50 these days too.

Aha! Push-ups is something I excel at. Despite their size, my chest muscles are very strong. In the Army we have a physical training test (PT test) once in a while. One of the 3 events is the push-up, how many you can do in 2 minutes. I usually knock out 70 to 80 within the first minute (You only need to do 78 to max the score for my age group). During the second minute I try to do as many more as I can, even though I don't have to. I almost always average above 100 push-ups for the test. My record, that I've hit twice, is 127 push-ups in 2 minutes.
