the_casualty's Biography

I've spent a huge chunk of the past year or so on here, so it's hard to break the news about this. But I think it's time to part. I apologize to all my friends; no, everyone. For I was unable to bring what I promised. I promised that I'd fix everything I saw wrong about Vizzed. But in reality, I never even came close. I can't begin to explain what Vizzed has done for me. If you check out some of my earlier posts, you can see that I was an absolute dolt. I might still be a little loose in the head sometimes, but certainty a lot less than before. Before I joined Vizzed, I knew nothing of web design. Truth be told, layouts were the things that inspired me to learn HTML, and then CSS, and now PHP. It's really expanded my horizons, if you will. I know that I'll lose contact with several people. One of those in particular is legacyme3. If I can ask anything of you, please don't desert me because of this decision. I love you (no homo) and I'd miss you dearly if you just blew me off. You know that I'll still be in IRC if you ever decide to drop by. I'm pretty sure most of you are questioning why I've made this decision. Simply put, I'm tired. I'm tired of the mundane, worthless threads. Tired of the members who wouldn't give a care if I just died and left forever. Tired of the "Pokemon fans" and also the people that insult them because of it, because they're no better themselves. I originally started doing this job because I believed that I would be able to make a difference. Yet, I'm a simple local moderator, barred from doing anything, even for several years simply because of my age. I may come back someday, and believe me, I will be periodically checking up on here, to see how things are doing. But until then, I wish you all farewell.
