Just post a lot, and spend a lot of time in the Chat Room. It worked for me; hopefully it will for you too.

yeah.... spending time in the chat room will get you recognized a bit more.

And try posting in all the forums you can. That will get your name showing up in more and more places and you'll interact with a wider range of the membership.

debukx22: Here are some tips on getting known around Vizzed.

First is to actually post quite a bit and get out of the newbie rank, not many people look at newbie members much.

After you become normal try and get a user picture (you have a good one) and post in many places, not just the same forums, and make sure you practice good English (If spell check does not help try to use the word you can't spell into Google with a sentence appropriate for that word. If you have problems with grammar then you can go online and look at basic classes, or I think you can). Also please accept other people options (if it is fact and they are wrong you can correct them) if you are going to post in the serious forums, for example the Debate and Logic forum or you might get into a flame war, get a ban and lose so many thumbs and trust points it will take a longer time and will be harder to get trusted.

Another thing to take note is to befriend trusted members, they (not me I only give for really good reasons) tend to give trust points to people they know, like and are still normal.

The rules are still extremely important, not many wants to be friends with a rule breaker unless they want to help the breaker, etc.

I also noticed your application to RGR staff, it looked as if you didn't read the first post, be sure to ALWAYS, ALWAYS read the first post to any thread (I know I didn't in one thread and I learned from that, it was embarrassing informing a mod to close a thread just because the title was a dupe).

If you want to get more well known around the internet you need to do some milestones, like a flash series, Youtube videos and online games (Fan ones work a lot for getting well known, look at SRB2 and Super Mario 63), I will go more in depth to this somewhere else though, for now it is just Vizzed.

P.S: I dislike the 3 most common premade layouts, that is just me , I am okay with normal members "layoutless" but I don't know about others.

You just be who you are and make sure to let your self have fun. Oh and also make sure you post ALOT. Well not a whole lot but at least some so people see ya.

OK thanks guys ill take all this into mind, oh and i have a you tube channel my name is MrBuky22 i dont have many but it would help if you guys watched my videos although they are mostly video game stuff i am trying to broaden my horizon of topics for them though so any suggestions for videos would help you guys... but again thanks for the advise every one.

Well, to get well-known around Vizzed, make sure you post on the forums a lot (don't spam though), also you should go in the chatroom. That's a surefire way to meet new people.

dbukx22 : If you want to become well known, you need to post in all of the forums, and find what you enjoy. Also, you need to create all sorts of threads on different subjects. Also, post a lot. I'd say that's most of it, but of course there's more to it. You'll find out more as you spend more time on the board. PS-the Crazy House is a hot spot for many people, but it's really not the place to get to know people. This is the place to be for that.
