Pokemon Emerald - Catch \'em All! Can't catch anybody anymore, and no working clock either. ¯_(?)_/¯
Dynamite Headdy (english translation) hola
Pokemon Emerald - Catch \'em All! Scyther uses a Sun Stone, Porygon evolves with happiness, Clamperl evolves at level 10 depending on whether attack or defense is higher, and Onix is also level 40.
Pokemon Emerald - Catch \'em All! Yes, the fossil cave is where you would get Treecko. Since there are so many different Pokemon you can get there, it's tough to find one sometimes. As for the Pokemon that normally need trades, Machamp and Alakazam need to be level 40.
Pokemon Emerald - Catch \'em All! You can find an Eevee in Route 112. Bulbasaur can be caught in the same cave as other starters, Altering Cave.
Tecmo Super Bowl 2015 (tecmobowl.org hack) Game just crashed on me. Weird.
Super Mario Bros (for NES Tournament only) If you recorded it, you can upload it to the Vizzed youtube channel here: http://www.vizzed.com/playonlinegames/videouploader.php?gameid=87463
Pokemon Emerald - Catch \'em All! Both Latias and Latios can be found in Artisan Cave, like most legendaries. But if the tickets work for you, they can also be found on one of the islands you go to. These don't seem to work for everybody, though.

Ninjabread Man
10-18-14 12:26 PM
You can't catch me, I'm the Ninjabread Man!
As most people probably know by now, the Nintendo Wii was littered by many crappy 3rd party games. There were many things that makes so many of the bad. Some of them have controls that try to use the Wii Remote to its full ability, but forget to make it work. Others have horrible graphics and overall quality put into the game world. And in the case of many platforming games that were bad on the Wii, it involved terrible cameras. And the game Ninjabread Man nails all of these issues right on the head, ending up as one of the most infamous games in the Wii library.

Gameplay: 2 – So, what this game seems to be going for is some kind of platformer like Banjo & Kazooie, but fails in practically every way. The basic gameplay of the game is “exploring” the levels in search of finding 8 pieces to fix a machine, which is only used as a means to get to the next level. The game pretends like it has an open world, but the levels vary from a linear path with a split where you have to go from one path to the other, to just one big circle mess. The lack of a helpful map was eminent pretty early on as well, as it’s easy to get lost.

It isn’t like the actual platforming is good either. One level is pretty much a joint of similar looking rooms with random mushroom-like objects around. Nothing interesting; it’s all copy and pasting here. Other levels aren’t much different. There is nothing to change up the gameplay at all. It’s the same bland thing all the way through.

Difficulty: 6 – The game provides very little challenge in the sense of level design and fair enemies. The real difficulty in this game is fighting the horrible controls and camera. Starting with the camera, it feels the need to swing around randomly, and does a really bad job of showing depth, resulting missing the platforms half the time b... Read the rest of this Review
Yoshi\'s Island DS

Yoshi's Island returns on the DS
Yoshi’s Island DS is the sequel to the game of the same name on the Super NES, without the DS of course, which was an amazing game. It had great platforming, a terrific art style, and was one of the best games the SNES had to offer. But how good is the sequel to it? How does it compare to the original? Although I haven’t played the original enough to compare how “good” it is comparing it, I do know some differences.

Well, the game is still the same basic idea. Yoshi can flutter to get higher, and eating enemies can get you eggs to throw at other enemies, or other places that can unlock hidden areas. Although, there are also some new features added into this game. You start off with Baby Mario again, but this time, as you go along your journey, you can find more babies you can use throughout the game. All of the babies have different special ways to play.

First, Baby Mario can go faster, and has a good flutter. And his eggs can bounce a few times before breaking. Baby Peach also has a high flutter, but her eggs crash as soon as they hit a wall, and are slower as well. Her umbrella also allows her to fly up if there is wind. There are some others, and they are all fun to play with, and each has different areas that are designed for them. It’s nice to see the change of gameplay, and keeps it fresh.

The other babies are Baby DK, Baby Bowser, and Baby Wario. They are all fun to play with, although unfortunately, Wario is only used in a few levels, and the difficulty never picks up with him. Besides him, the rest can usually be used in old levels before you get them, which was cool, because you could maybe find a secret that wasn’t available before.

Gameplay: 9 – The gameplay, like the SNES one, is a 2d platformer, and a great one at that. You can defeat enemies in a few differe... Read the rest of this Review
Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Mini-Land Mayhem
10-20-13 09:35 AM
Mini Land Mayhem!!
No matter who you are, you most likely know who Mario is. Mostly known for using his high jumps to defeat a Koopa King to save Princess Peach. However, in Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Mini Land Mayhem, this is far from the truth. Mini Land Mayhem is a puzzle game instead, and instead of Mario, you will be controlling small, toy versions of Mario, as well as toy versions of Toad, Princess Peach, and Donkey Kong.

You control them in a stage that could be as small as a 20x20, to huge stages, that reach 100x100. There are tons of obstacles, such as spikes, Snifts, and Thwops, trying to destroy the toys. And if they do, you have to start the stage all over. You win once you get all your toys to the door at the end.

This was released on the Nintendo DS, and took advantage of the dual screens perfectly. You get a map up top, and the game area on bottom. You tap the toys to make them start moving. Once they start though, they won’t stop until they reach the end, or die before that happens. To keep them from dying, you can place springs, conveyer belts, and girders in designated areas of the screen to help them reach their goal.

Story: 6.5 - So, Mario and Pauline are opening a new amusement park called Mini Land. And the first 100 people to show up get a free Pauline toy. Donkey Kong hears about it, and comes to get his own free toy, plowing through Toads to get one. Although, he’s too late, as he is the 101st person to arrive. Outraged, he takes the real Pauline, and Mario has to go after him, with only these toys to get her back.

Although the story never really progresses, the intro is shown in two ways at once. On the top screen, you get art panels of what’s going on, and the bottom is more like a cut scene. It’s cool to see both at once, and it’s done really well.

Super Mario 3D Land

Super Mario 3d Land review
Super Mario 3d Land is a 3d Mario platformer on the 3ds, released in 2011, and then again in 2012 in the Eshop. As far as sales go, it did really well, being the first 3ds game to sell 5 million copies, and rightfully so.

But what is Super Mario 3d Land? Basically, what it was supposed to be a mixture of a normal 2d platformer, and a normal 3d platformer. What I mean by this is it is a more linear journey than Super Mario 64, or Mario Galaxy. So it’s a 2d platformer, in a 3d world. And I actually really liked it. It was a good change from both the New Super Mario Bros. series, and the 3d platformer ones.

But that doesn’t mean there aren’t any secrets to find. There are three star coins in every level. Some will be right in your path, for some you might have to find a hidden Toad, and sometimes you will have to think outside the box to find them.

Gameplay: 8 - It’s a pretty interesting thing that Nintendo did here with the hybrid of a 3d and 2d game. But like I said, it works great. Go through the level, collect the star coins, and get to the top of the flag pole. The game works great though. There are some levels that are speed runs, where you have either 30 seconds, and you need to get extra time throughout the level, or have about 100 seconds to finish a course. I rarely died directly because of the time limit, but you will die when you are trying to rush.

The other alternate stages are where a ghost Mario will follow behind you, similar to the cosmic clones in Mario Galaxy. These will in some courses be a little challenging, but sometimes don’t really make a difference. But there’s an alternate version to this as well. This time, the clone will be much bigger, and can destroy blocks, which can sometimes help you, or destroy you, depending on the level. These I found to be really fun, becau... Super Mario Bros 3

What all video games should strive for
Super Mario Bros. 3 was in the U.S., a true sequel to the classic Super Mario Bros. Released for the NES five years after the original. It took everything that made the original great, and improved pretty much everything.

It added an over world with alternate paths, so you could possibly pass a level you had trouble with, it greatly improved the graphics, and added tons of new powerups. Not only that, but the controls were more fluent with jumping, and the screen no longer prevents you from moving left. This made the player feel like you could explore the level, instead of simply moving right.

To add to the adventure part of the game, each world has levels that correspond to the over world. The ice world will involve stages that are mostly frozen in ice. There is a pipe world that is inhabited by tons of Piranha Plants. But best of all, there are the giant levels, which have mega sized Goombas and Koopa Troopas. It really does feel like you are in that world.

Another way this game feels more like an adventure is that with one of the new suits, the Raccoon suit, you can now fly around the world. You can find hidden areas, coins, or even extra lives up in the sky by using this item. You can also attack with your tail to kill enemies, or destroy blocks.

Some other suits are the hammer suit, where you can throw hammers like a Hammer Bro., and a frog suit, where you can swim much easier. It is pretty useless, but it is fun to use, because Mario hops on land while you walk. And last is the Tanooki suit. It is the same as the raccoon suit, however, now you can turn into a statue for a few seconds. This keeps enemies from hurting you, and can help if you have no way to avoid an attack. I never found this useful though, because the statue lasts for only a very short time, and I usually would get hit by the thing I am trying ... Read the rest of this Review
Mario & Luigi - Superstar Saga

Mario & Luigi review
Mario and Luigi was the first Mario RPG to make it to a handheld console, and the first of the Mario and Luigi series. Superstar saga is the only one to be on the Gameboy Advance, and was also packed in with the classic Mario Bros, just like most of the GBA Mario games.

If you haven’t played one of the Mario and Luigi games, it has battles that use turn by turn gameplay. But unlike the Paper Mario series, you have the ability to avoid the opponents’ attacks all together. But you control both Mario and Luigi at the same time, so you also have to figure out which bro the enemy is going to attack. You can upgrade badges, pants, and bonus items, which can either strengthen up the bros, give them a special ability, or even both. This adds an extra bit of strategy. For instance, a powerup can give you the power to jump on spiky enemies, but does not give your power much extra strength. It makes you think which equipment would be best in each situation.

Story: 9.5 – The story is nice, because it changes the normal Mario formula. This time, some new enemies, Cackletta and Fawful steal Peach’s voice, and replace it with an exploding vocabulary. This causes panic in the kingdom, so Mario is called to look at the scene. By this time, Bowser was already there. He was originally going to kidnap Peach, but after he learned that Peach’s words explode, decided to help Mario and Luigi get her voice back, so THEN he could kidnap her. So you go off the Beanbean kingdom, the neighbor to the Mushroom kingdom to defeat Cackletta, and get Peach’s voice back.

The rest of the story is pretty good as well. Has some twists, and doesn’t really get stale. But this is just the start of it. The best part about the story is the comedy. This game has great moments. There is some great dialogue, funny animations, and just genius in eve... Read the rest of this Review
Mario Kart Wii

Not a good driving simulator, but a great game!
Mario Kart Wii is the 6th game in the Mario Kart series, and as you can tell, it was released on the Nintendo Wii in 2008. As you know, Mario Kart is a kart racer with fun tracks, tons of havoc because of the items, and great multiplayer fun. This installation of the series doesn't disappoint. Pretty much everything that made all previous Mario Kart games are here, making what I think is the best game in the series.

First, I want to go over the new thing introduced in Mario Kart Wii. Aside from the obvious graphical improvements, you can now control your car using the Wii remote like a steering wheel. This is a really fun mode to use, and brings new life to Mario Kart. You can also now use motor cycles alongside the normal karts. When using the bikes, you can no longer get the red sparks when flying for a mini-turbo. But instead you can use wheelies, which improve you speed. Although I liked the initial thought of them, the fact that they are much more useful the cars is a little disappointing, especially since “karting” is the name of the game.

Mario Kart Wii also added some new items. The POW block from the classic Mario Bros. game is an item for those in the middle of the pack, and can spin all opponents in front of you spin out unless they shake the Wii remote (or do the trick action with another controller). But unfortunately, the added what is probably the worst item ever created. The Thunder Cloud will automatically equip itself, and will shrink whoever is holding it after a certain amount of time. The only way to get rid of it is to bump other players. This item is really annoying, and doesn't add to the game whatsoever. And what’s worse is they replaced the Boo item for it, which was probably my favorite from the DS version.

Another difference is that now there are twelve racers instead of the usual eight. This gives a gre... Read the rest of this Review

Mother 3 review!
Before I start, if people like Mother3fan5 see this, and see that I didn’t rate this 10/10, I’m sorry. I’m not trying to offend you. :P Well, anyways, on to the review.

Mother 3, the sequel to Mother 2, or better known as Earthbound in the States, was released on the GBA in 2006, but like the first in the series, it was only released in Japan. However, it was originally going to be called Earthbound 64, and, as the name would suggest, it was going to be released on the N64. But even BEFORE that, it was going to also be on the SNES, since production started in 1994, like Mother 2. But it was delayed, was scheduled for the failed N64DD, then for the normal N64, before it was finally moved to the GBA.

But luckily, a patch for the original Japanese ROM was released for an English translation, so we could enjoy this game. Just like Earthbound, it is a turn-by-turn RPG adventure game. Using your PSI powers, you will fight a bunch of wacky enemies, including snake-cow fusions, possessed guitars, and many others. But this improves some mechanics that were lacking in Earthbound. For instance, you can now run, making the world much easier to get around in.

Gameplay: 9 – The game plays really well. To get into a battle, you run around the world. When you see enemies, you must touch them to battle them. But you can get an advantage or disadvantage depending on how you touch them. If you run into them from behind, you will get a quick attack off. Conversely, if the enemy hits you from behind, they get the first strike. I really like how they do this, because it means trying to run away could cost you.

One of the best things about this game is that you get to take control of a total of six different people. Some are used throughout almost the whole game, like Lucas and Boney, an... Read the rest of this Review

Cars the game review!
Cars is a video game lightly based off of the Pixar movie, “Cars”; hence, the title of the game. The one that I had growing up was the one for the GameBoy Advance. The GBA was one of eight systems it was released on, not including PC, because of the fact that it was released around the start of the new generation of consoles. But with it being on the GameBoy Advance, it gave them much less to work with compared to the much more powerful systems that it was on, but it actually didn’t do too bad considering it is mostly based off of a movie.

Now, if you couldn’t tell, Cars is a racing game. You chose between four different characters; Lightning McQueen, The King, Chick Hicks, and Doc Hudson; and you can choose their colors as well. All of them race differently on the track as well. For instance, Chick is very fast, but hard to control. But its perspective is not the regular 3rd person angle, with you positioned behind the car. This one has a camera that is fixed in one place for the whole race, like Super Sprint in a way.

Now, this had its advantages and disadvantages. It made it really hard to know what is coming up, but before your turn, you will get an arrow indicating the direction you will need to go, but it is still tough to pull it off. But it was probably a good thing that they did this, because I feel that the environment would look bad with constant angle changing. But the biggest down side to this is you will occasionally come upon speed panels and slow panels, and unless you know the track well, it’s almost pure chance.

And there is something else that makes this game different from other racers as well. Your character is always moving, meaning you don’t need to use the acceleration to go forward. This helps to go around tight turns, so you don’t have to continuously pump the breaks, or simply gl... Read the rest of this Review
Rec Room Games

Rec Room Games review
Ah, Rec Room Games. Winner of many awards, praised for terrific graphics, and outstanding music. Ok, actually, none of those things are true. This is really just another shovelware game for the Wii. Virtually unknown, stupid ways to use the Wii remote motion controls, and average PS2 graphics, are all the main traits of many 3rd party Wii games. And this one isn’t much different from the norm.

So how this one works, is you have 20 different minigames to choose from. Each is supposed to represent a game that you can play just in your basement (hence, the name). Some are compatible with the Wii MotionPlus. They are: bowling, ski ball, disc toss, Smack-a-Squirrel (whack-a-mole), darts, gorodki, and disc toss (Frisbee).

The ones that don’t use the Wii MotionPlus are foosball, table hockey, rubberband sharpshooter, hillbilly golf (ladder ball), air hockey, dodgeball, trashcan basketball, and tic-tac-toe toss. And then there are a few that don’t really even make sense. I mean, really? Cards, Chinese checkers, peg, and box maze? That doesn’t even make sense! But they are there nonetheless.

Controls: 6.5 - Now, most of them work how you would think. Bowling, although ten times worse than the Wii Sports version, works just the same way. And the peg, cards, and Chinese checkers pretty much just uses the A button or D-pad. Really, the controls are simple. Most of them involve flicking your wrists, and just the Wiimote. But there is a BIG problem: the controls are broken for most of the games! Even something simple like Smack-a-Squirrel seems to be hard to get you pointer to the right spot, even with the sensor bar. And the smallest difference in speed can be the difference from over throwing or completely under throwing your ladderball, bowling ball, dart, etc.

Super Mario Kart review
Mario Kart Super Circuit is the first game in the Mario Kart series. This one is on the SNES, and was released in 1992. As you probably know, here’s how Mario Kart is played. You and seven other racers will race around the track, for 5 laps, and whoever’s in first at the end wins, like every other racing game. However, in Mario Kart, they also add items. These items will cause havoc to the other racers on the track. It ranges from banana peels that you can slip on, to the deadly red shell, to the mini mushroom. All of these items give you some type of advantage in the race.

There are a few game modes you can play also. There are two modes for single player and two extra ones if you are playing with a friend. The modes are grand prix, vs, battle, and time trials. Versus and battle are for 2 players only, while time trials is only for single player.

Grand prix is where you will race on five tracks all in a row, and try to get the most points by the end of the races. Versus is a mode for two players only. Here, you will be racing with just you and your friend on the same tracks as grand prix. Next is time trial mode. In this mode, you will be alone on the track, and try to get a good record, along with your three mushrooms. This one is fun especially if you like getting records. And the last one is battle mode. Here, you and your friend start with three balloons, representing lives. Your goal is to destroy them, by shooting items at them. You will battle in four special arenas for this mode.

Gameplay: 9 /10 – The gameplay is great. The combination of items, skill while maneuvering through the track, and using your drifting powers, come together to make a great game to play with a friend of alone. When you drift... Read the rest of this Review
Sonic Advance 3

Gotta go fast! Sonic Advance 3 review
Sonic Advance 3 is, obviously, the third game in the Sonic Advance series, for the Game Boy Advance.  This one is actually the last true Sonic game that is 100% 2d, if you don’t count the Sonic 4 games (which I don’t count). Now, this one is still pretty much the same as all classic Sonic games. Run quickly to the right, collect the rings, and go on random loop-de-loops.  Get all the Chaos Emeralds, and defeat Dr. Eggman. And in this game, you will also try to collect small Chaos that are spread around the whole world. However, there are also some things that make this one different from the rest.

The first difference that you will notice is that you can select two characters. The first one will be under your control, like normal. You can spin dash, jump, and fly if you have the right character, or float down slowly. And the second one will follow around you, getting hurt, dying a lot, and that’s about all you will notice at first. But they have something that they can help you with. If you hold onto the L shoulder (or whatever you’re preset is), you will hold your partner.  So if you let go, you will get this power up. Sonic will make you speed up, and Tails will launch you to higher places, or take you along with him while he flies. Each of the five characters has a special ability that can help you throughout the journey. Now, these partners are really dumb though. I can’t tell you how many times that I was about to jump into a vehicle, and my partner went into it first, leaving me out to dry.

Now, along with letting you use them to help you, the partners also have some strategy involved in them.  For instance, if you are Sonic with Knuckles as a partner, Sonic’s attack will go much farther. Put it the other way around, Knuckles will do a headbutt attack, but if you have anybody else as a partner, he will glide, and hold onto the walls.... Read the rest of this Review

Gotta Catch 'em All! Pokemon Gold review
Pokémon Gold is the counterpart of Pokémon Silver, and the first game of the second generation of the Pokémon main series. This version of Pokémon includes many of the classic Pokémon from the first generation, and includes 100 new Pokémon to catch, train, and collect.

If you didn’t know, Pokémon is a turn-by-turn RPG. Every Pokémon has different pros and cons, whether it be their element type, or the moves that they learn. And with a total of 251 Pokémon, there are many different ways you can go with your strategy. But really, all you need is a Typhlosion. :P

Graphics  9.5 – The graphics in this game are great. The Pokémon sprites are vastly improved from B/R/Y, and the shiny sprites are really nice. And maybe this is just my personal opinion, but the Gold sprites seem to be better than Silver 80% of the time. Really, the only problem with the graphics is that during the battles, the background is just plain white. It just seems bland. You will get used to it, but it just seems unfinished.

However, what I thought was the biggest upgrade from the original Pokémon games, was the new night and day cycle.  In this game, there is a timer to keep track of what time of day it is. At around 6:00, the sky will change to a darker color, making it look like night. It looks so great.

Sound 9 – It’s pretty hard for me to rate this, since the nostalgia is so high for this game for me. But either way, this game’s music is amazing.  The music in the gyms, the first route, and the Pokécenters are some of the best songs in Pokémon history.  Then there are some good sounds too, The Pokémon cries, although they don’t say their names like I feel they should, do sound good. Very few of them sound repeated, and those that are were done that way on purpose.  Even the small sounds like the Pokeba... Read the rest of this Review
Mario Kart - Super Circuit

Mario Kart review!
Mario Kart Super Circuit was the first Mario Kart game
for a handheld system. Being on a gba, they couldn't make the 3d track like
Mario Kart 64, giving them fewer options. But that definitely doesn't
make this a bad game.

So, this Mario Kart isn't much different from the rest. It's a karting
game, with gimmicks on each track, items to mess with others, and coins to make
you go faster and avoid getting knocked around.

So there are a few game modes in Mario Kart Super Circuit. First, there
is GP mode, where you race at one of five cups, and do four races in a row.
There are three difficulties: 50cc, 100cc, and 150cc, progressively
getting harder each time.

The second game mode is time trials. Here, you race all alone on the
track, or against a ghost, and race around it three times. You get three
mushrooms during this race.

The next one is the verses mode. Here, you can pick between the
three difficulties, if you want to do 3 or 5 laps, if you want to use
items, and if you want to use coins or not.

And then there are some multiplayer options. You can do versus, or do the
battle mode, where you attack others, and try to be the only remaining player
left with balloons, which are used as lives. Unfortunately, it's impossible to
do this mode on Vizzed, and nor have I ever played it, so this won't be put
into consideration for the overall rating.

In this addition to the Mario Kart franchise, there
are a total of eight racers, like in the previous two, all distributed into
different weight classes. Mario and Luigi are the medium size. They are average
at everything, but don't have any real advantages. Toad, ... Read the rest of this Review

Super Mario Galaxy 2 review!
Super Mario Galaxy 2 was considered one of the best Wii games out there, and is also considered one of the better Mario games in general. For anyone who doesn't know, Super Mario Galaxy 2 is a 3d platformer game, that takes place in space. Your goal is to collect every single star, so you can power up your ship to get to Bowser and Bowser Jr., who again stole Peach. And in this game, there are some new suits. Along with the Bee, Boo, and Spring suit from the first Super Mario Galaxy, you can now get a Rock Mushroom, so you can roll over your enemies. You can also get the Cloud Flower. With it, you can spin three times to make a cloud appear, so you can reach higher levels. And in this one, you can use Yoshi! So with him, you can eat enemies, flutter, and also eat berries to make him go super fast, puff up like a balloon on float high, or light up otherwise invisible floors. Now onto the review.

Graphics - 10  There is not one Wii game that I've seen that looked better than this game. From the vibrant colors, to the high details of every background, and every character. I can't really recall anything that didn't look outstanding. They actually look better in every way compared to the first game in the Galaxy series. Something else that improved from the first was the world map. It is more clean than the previous game, because the galaxies are more spread out, and there is a path that you travel along to get from galaxy to galaxy, instead of finding them from the observatory.

Sound - 9.5  The music in Super Mario Galaxy 2 is phenomenal. The music sounds deep, and perfect for the galaxy theme. The only down side is that some of the music is recycled from the first Mario Galaxy, which is alright, but some of the songs that they took I'm not as fond of, but that's mostly later on in the game.

Addictiveness / depth -  9  In this game, there are 251 stars to find, with a little less than half of them being Green Stars, which a... Read the rest of this Review
Super Mario Advance

Super Mario Advance review
Super Mario Advance, other known as Super Mario Bros. 2, is known as kind of the odd ball in the Super Mario Bros. series. Now why was this? One reason was, the original was a 2D platfomer, and to kill enemies, you jump on their heads, and try to save a princess. But this one is completely different. Here, jumping on the enemies gets you only a ride, and you have to throw plants at them, or other enemies to kill them. But is it really as bad as people say? Well, first off, the game we all knew as Super Mario Bros. 2 was in Japan called Super Mario USA. Their Super Mario Bros. 2 was basically a harder version of the first Super Mario Bros. game. Since it was so hard, it was never released anywhere else until Super Mario All stars. But anyway, back to Super Mario Bros. 2.  It was originally a game called Doki Doki Panic. They changed the story a bit, added some Mario sprites, changed some of the music, and BAM! Super Mario USA. And to let everyone know, I haven't played the original game myself, so I don't know all the features that were added. Now to the review.

Graphics - 9.5  Super Mario Advance had some really good graphics. They were bright, colorful, and added many newcomers to the Mario universe, such as Shy Guys, Bob-ombs and Birdo. The graphics look phenomenal, especially compared to the original NES version.

Sound - 8.5  The music in this game is great. Some classic music, like when you are in the alternate world, after going into the doors that come from the magic potions. And there are new songs also. Some of them, like the cave music, gets repetitive, especially since you will find a cave in most every level. One other thing that makes the sound's rating higher is that the characters talk. They all say something when they take damage, pull up plants, or die. Now when there are more than five plants in a row, the sound of Toad pulling up weeds may get a little aggravating, but it's nothing too bad.

Super Mario Land DX

Super Mario Land DX Review
Super Mario Land for the Game Boy is a normal Mario 2D platformer game.
The gameplay is similar to the original Super Mario Bros. It was also one of the most successful Game Boy games ever created. To let you know, the only difference between this version and the original is that this one has COLOR! So it's basically the original game with color. Here's how the game goes. You're Mario, trying to get to the end of the level, like a normal 2d platform game. You pick up items like invincible stars, which makes you invincible for a short time, killing any enemy you come in contact with. Then there's the mushroom. With it, you become taller, can break certain blocks, and need to get hit twice to die. Then there's the 1-up mush- wait, it's a heart? Oh, OK, so the heart gives you an extra life. And finally, there's the new Fire Flower. It now not only kills enemies that it hits, but it also collects all the coins it touches. And the best part about it, (or maybe the worst) the fireballs haven't ever heard of gravity. Once the bounce on the ground, they will start flying up until it hits a ceiling, and would then come back down. It is very fun to use.

Graphics - 9.5  The graphics are the reason to play this game over the original. Mario looks like he did in Super Mario Bros. with little difference besides there are some color differences. All the enemies look very good also. I really liked the backgrounds as well, they looked very nice. And the color make the graphics look a lot more finished, but sometimes the color looks a little more like an add on, but that is what it is, anyway. All the mushrooms and the sphinx things look very good, and look like what they are.

Sound - 8 I really enjoy the music. Everything from the level music, to the invincible sounds. All the jumping was spot on, with no delays. However, I thought the underground level track seemed a little repetitive. But the song that is played at the first level gets stuck... Read the rest of this Review
Pokemon Palladium (Beta 1)

Pokemon Palladium Review
To start off, I will say that this game is only a beta, so it's not complete. Now let's move on.

Graphics - 9
Really, the graphics are all the same in most Pokémon hacks, but they're good none the less. Not much to say about that.

Sound - 8
The music is taken from different parts of Fire Red/ Leaf Green, such as Island One Poke Center, but some music felt out of place compared to what seemed that should have been there.

Addictiveness - 9
Now, this was hard to judge. I played the whole game through in two sessions of about an hour each. But I enjoyed it anyways.

Story - 8
The story is not the regular one that you want to be the best trainer ever. This hack is different. The story goes something like this: You are finally, after five years, accepting from the Professor that you want  a Pokémon. The reason is that you and your best friend, Ryan and you are going to look for your brother, who has been missing for the last ten years. So along with the regular Catch 'em All, you will be above all, looking for your brother. This seems interesting, and I can't wait to see what happens.

Depth - 2
Now, like I stated at the beginning, this is a beta. You only face two gym leaders, and get to the third before it ends (at least, from what I've found). You can catch a pretty good amount of Pokémon, but don't get too attached to them.

Difficulty - 7
Now, most Pokémon games are relatively easy. However, this one, since not enough time accumulates to gain much distance between you and other trainers Pokémon, it is harder than most.

Overall - 9
Now as a real game, it might not be a 9, but if you are bored, and are looking to waist a few hours, this is a very good game to do so. Also, one final thing, something that I couldn't stand, was all the spaces in between grass patches, which annoys me, because I want to find every single hidden item. There are also some inc... Backyard Sports - Baseball 2007

Backyard Baseball 2007
Backyard Baseball 2007 for the GBA was a game I used to play all the time.

Graphics - 8 I didn't ever think anything about the graphics before, but they are ok I guess.

Sound - 8 The music for each person is awesome, and adds some more fun to it.

Addictive - 9 I would play this game all day as a kid. This was one of the best games I had on the GBA.

Depth -  9  All the different fields, different teams, and customizable jerseys for some teams. You can play it over and over again.

Difficulty - 6       I always played on easy and rarely got out on easy. If you go on All-Star, it will be a challenge. So it can widely differ.

Overall - 9.2Backyard Baseball 2007 is an amazing game still. I would highly recommend this for sports fans.

Super Mario All-Stars

Super Mario All-Stars Review
Super Mario All-Stars is the original Super Mario Bros. 1,2, and 3 together, with the inclusion of The Lost Levels, all in one improved game for the Super Nintendo. The graphics were good, even though on the original Super Mario Bros. i would prefer the original. The sound is very good, again thanks to the Super Nintendo which the original one could not have, but again, SMB 1 is just better with the normal music. This game can be played for a long time, to remember the old days playing the original versions, of course the  levels that you hated so much you wanted to destroy the game. because of this, it can be played over and over and over and over again. Since it has four games not including battle mode for multiplayer, it will take a long time to finish. especially the lost levels, which is so hard, i still have not beat it, and i have those "i hate this game!!"  experiences all over again. Over All, Super Mario All-Stars is a great game to go back in time, and enjoy the experience all over again, with the Lost Levels, to experience new adventures. So overall, i give this game a 9.3
Mario Party 2

Mario Party 2 review
Mario Party 2 for the Nintendo 64 is a great multi player game, as all Mario Party games are.

Graphics - 8The graphics aren't great, but Mario Party is not known for graphics and they didn't match up to what the N64 could hold.

Sound - 8
Some of the music was really good, but the mini game result screen and when the Goomba comes down, the music is barely music. There still is very good music on this game.

Addictiveness - 9Mario Party 2 can be played over and over, and even more than that if you have a friend to play with. However, some mini games from the first installment in the series, but most of those have been new and improved with the exception of Crane Game, which is personally my least favorite game, when trying to wiggle free.

Story - 10The story itself is normal, but to see why I rated it a ten, watch the intro movie. This game has lots of new boards, which includes parades, Ruins, and Wizard worlds. New mini game modes, which includes a race track like board and the only way to get coins is to win mini games.

Difficulty - 6Mario Party has not always had the best CPU difficulty on the board. They can be hard to beat in mini games, but the make some bad decisions, especially on the board.

Overall - 9.5In my opinion, Mario Party 2 may not be the best in some ways, but the suits that Mario and his friends (and Wario) wear are just cool, or something, not sure what it is about that, but makes the game better. I love Baby Bowser telling you where he is on Bowser Land, and this game has some things that you can somehow like. Mario Party 2 has more comedy than most in the series. I would highly recommend this game, as well as all games in the Mario Party series.
Mario Kart 64

Mario Kart 64 Review
Mario Kart 64 is one of the best racing games of all time.

Graphics - 10The graphics are absolutely stellar for a n64 game. And the biggest progression from Super Nintendo Super Mario Kart to Mario Kart 64, was the new 3d playing field. I have not seen a N64 game with graphics this good.

Sound -  9The music is just so good, mostly rainbow road, which was later remixed and put in Double Dash. One downside is, I feel the sound of the engines are too loud, but not to any bad extent.

Depth - 8      Addictiveness - 9This game is good on single player, but takes a whole new level when playing with a friend or two. There are plenty of tracks, 16 courses in all, getting progressively harder, but has four less courses than the original. But still good enough to keep you happy. It's also fun to play over and over. Battle mode and Time Trials keep the fun going, it you want to do something besides racing.

Difficulty - 7
I'm not sure how hard this game was when it originally came out, but in this day and age, it seems very challenging. Without the coins that were on the original game are gone, which definitely makes the game easier.

Overall - 9.9
The original took more standard kart racing to a high never before reached, but this game is was put it over the top, in a good way, and it makes it more fun. Mario Kart 64 is a must play for all Nintendo fans, and also just any person ever to play a video game! I give it a rating of 9.9/10.
Super Mario Advance 2 - Super Mario World

Super Mario World Review (GBA)
Super Mario World was, I believe, the best selling video game ever, at the time it came out. This is that same game, ported to the GBA, with improved music, a different sprite and different movements for Luigi, compared to  Mario. There is also voice acting, and plenty more. Plus, Luigi is no longer a second player only option.

Graphics  -  9
This game was definitely an improvement over the last games. Not only more depth in the backgrounds, but a brighter and more colorful world than before. This version, however, is slightly brighter than the original, which not every body liked.

Sound  -  10

The music, the sound effects, and like I stated earlier, the voice acting, were just phenomenal. All the music was good, and could be listened to for a long time, without it getting annoying. All the sound effects were perfect. Even jumping on the springs sounded good. The voices make the game that much better, when Mario cries out "Mama Mia!" if he dies. And something not every body knows, when you are on Yoshi, there is a bongo sound added to the in level music.

Addictiveness/ Depth  -  9.5

This game is very big. I think 94-96 different level exits. Some having two exits, which are marked by a red dot. With all the Yoshi coins to get, and so many levels to get them from, you will find it hard to stop. This game will take weeks to complete it one hundred percent (without excessive gameplay), and you will enjoy every minute of it.

Story  -  5

Bowser steals Peach when Mario and Luigi aren't looking. Same old story. Moving on.

Difficulty  -  7

This game is hard at times, but it is very easy to get 999 lives, so really you should be fine. There are lots of secrets that will be very hard to uncover, so it may be tough to find some hidden secrets.

Overall  -  10

This is my favorite game ever. It is so big, and just ... Read the rest of this Review
Pokemon Emerald 386

Pokemon Emerald 386 Review
Pokémon Emerald 386: Is a hack of Pokémon Emerald, made so you can get all 386 Pokémon (hence, the name) without trading.

GRAPHICS 9   The graphics in this game are nice. The sprites move like they did in Crystal, which gives some life to the Pokémon. The characters look good. It seems like they used the GBA's graphics nicely.

SOUND   8        The sounds of this game are very well done. The battle music, the Pokémon cries, are nice. Some of the music gives the game a very nice feel, but some music got annoying, such as the surfing music, since you will hear a lot of it.

ADDICTIVENESS  10     I could play this game all day. This is my second run through, going for a perfect team. Hours and hours of non stop game play. Which leads me into:

DEPTH   10      The fact that you must get 386 Pokémon is already a tough and lengthy  task, but add to that getting a team strong enough  face the hardships of the Battle Frontier, to the  Tough choices of making a Pokémon have good moves for winning contests, which makes it a very long game.

STORY   7       Pokémon has never had much of a good story, but this one, more so than even Sapphire and Ruby, has a more compelling story. The way that Team Magma and Team Aqua clash makes a pretty interesting story.

DIFFICULTY   7      Now, the regular Pokémon Emerald was not too hard to wipe out all the Pokémon through the E4, but this game changes that, by making all Pokémon trainers have Pokémon at higher levels than before. The Pokémon League now have  Pokémon near 20 levels higher, while Steven using all level 100's for his team. If you train the right Pokémon and train them right, it could still...
