Super Mario World 2 Review
Overall - 9.8
Super Mario World 2 - Yoshi's Island on the Super Nintendo is a great game to play. I did not know there was a sequel of Super Mario World, but I guess there is. When I played this game, it knocked me in the head, I remember little of this game back in the past. I really had fun playing this game and it was a great adventure. The game is a whole lot different than Super Mario World. I guarantee that this game is a whole lot of fun just like Super Mario World.
Graphics - 10
The graphics are amazing. It looked so awesome and the way the levels look is very good. The effects are good. With the flashing and the colors are very well-made. I really like it.
Sound - 9
The sound is very good. It is good, except for the part when baby Mario cries. That can get annoying, but it is what it is in the game. You have to face the fact that you have to carry him around with Yoshi. The sound effects are good too. It makes it sound so much like Super Mario World.
Addictiveness - 9
The game is so much fun and it can get addicting sometimes. It is addicting like Super Mario World. The game turned out to be a great game.
Story - 7
The story is very interesting. It seems to be like it goes back before Super Mario World. Kamek tries to capture baby Mario and baby Luigi, but what happens is that baby Mario slips out and falls into Yoshi's Island, leaving baby Luigi with Kamek. Yoshi happens to go and take care of baby Mario and it is up to them to go and save baby Luigi and stop Baby Bowser and Kamek. Pretty interesting how it would be starting out with everyone being babies and you having to be Yoshi.
Depth - 8
The game has a lot of features in the game. For instance, in each level, you play as a different colored Yoshi. Another thing is that there are six worlds to go through to get to the end. The rest is kind of the same features from Super Mario World, like the saving, the choosing levels, and stuff. Being Yoshi is very fun because you get to do a lot of things that Mario could not do such as swallowing enemies, shooting eggs, jump higher, and many more.
Difficulty - 4
The game is pretty easy and simple with the controls. The only thing hard about this is the enemies. If you get hit, Mario gets into a bubble and you have to get him in 10 seconds or you will lose. Not that hard, but just avoid being hit and you would not have to deal with this issue. The enemies itself is not hard. They are basically simple creatures that anyone can face. Other than that, the game plays fair in most of the levels.
Wrap Things Up...
Super Mario World 2 - Yoshi's Island is a good adventurous game to play. I highly recommend trying this game out if you have not already. You do not have to play the first game to play this, they are two complete different stories. This game seems to bring back the feeling of Mario and Yoshi working together. :)

Super Mario World 2 - Yoshi's Island Description: The events of Yoshi's Island take place in the past. Mario was one of two twin brothers whom the evil Magikoopa Kamek tried to kidnap. Kamek kidnapped one of the brothers, but the second, Mario, fell down on Yoshi's island, where Yoshis live. The Yoshis decided to carry baby Mario and to bring him to his parents. But Kamek has sent troops and hordes of monsters to stop the Yoshis and to kidnap Mario.
In the game, players control the differently colored Yoshis most of the time. Mario is a helpless baby unless a star that makes him invincible is collected. As a Yoshi, players can swallow enemies to make eggs; these eggs are used for attacking other enemies and activating switches. Yoshi can do a flutter jump to clear large gaps that a regular jump can't. Players can also pound the ground for attacks and also flipping certain switches. Additionally, Yoshis can transform into vehicles, such as a helicopter, submarine, or a train. If Mario is dismounted from a Yoshi, a countdown will start, and Yoshi must catch the baby before Kamek's servants kidnap it. When Mario is invincible, he doesn't ride on Yoshi and is immune to attack. While invincible, Mario can run up certain walls.
