Pokemon emerald Review - FINALLY we get a good story!
Hey, so here's my first review that I'm actually submitting through the RGR game's page, and that ISN'T a Sonic/ Ty review. Unfortunately, this game isn't going to be as up to date or advanced as the previous games that I've gone and reviewed so far. So, as you can tell by the title of the thread, I'm going to be reviewing Pokemon Emerald. So, unlike the rest of the Pokemon games, I'm actually impressed with this game, compared to others in the series from the GameBoy to the GameBoy Advance. Unlike Pokemon Fire Red, Crystal, and Ruby/Sapphire, this game had many upgrades to it, which included how the Sprites move during the attacks, an upgraded story to the previous one seen in Pokemon Ruby or Sapphire, and it features the all new Battle Frontier system. The Battle Frontier is basically a whole area full of Gym like buildings with leaders, however, there are exceptions and rules for each section, and they don't have a set of pokemon that are all related to each other, such as Surge would have all Electric type Pokemon or Blaine would have all Fire type Pokemon. They pretty much threw every seemingly good idea they had into this game, and got something that turned out original for the series. Now, I will start my review, and due to the RGR Review system, I'll be adding a few sections, but the new parts will be a bit shorter than the other sections that I regularly do. So, let's start this off now!

Graphics - So, in the grading section, I gave the Graphics a rating of an 8. Now, while it has alright graphics for a GameBoy Advance RPG series, it's not really different from what they've had prior to Emerald. They still have the 32 Bit style and all, which was a bit of an average for the handheld systems at the time (Even though the GBA was the only handheld released around then). However, as mentioned in the introduction section, they DID manage to be able to go and have moving sprites, which were a big step up in the battle system, and they did successfully ...
