Classic arcade goodness kraykan
Welcome to Die, X-men!
The classic X-men arcade game is back, and as good as ever. You get to play as Night crawler Storm, Wolverine, Dazzler, Cyclops or Colossus as you fight evil in fun beat-em-up style.
X Chicken!
The graphics are good, with vastly different looking stages, and different music for each one. Its a fairly addictive game, and you wont be bored at all when you play it.
SHIELD!
The story is nothing special, and neither is the depth, but that's to be expected with this style of game. The nostalgia factor is high, and memories of fighting the evil brotherhood of mutants with my friends shine once again. Multiplayer is tough with a computer, and not quite the same as playing 4 player or even 6 player with the rare double screen arcade version. But you cant hold that against the game.
Die!
In the end, the X-men arcade game is classic, and you should definitely play it whether you are an x men fan or not. You can beat it in around 30 minutes on your own, or you can grab a friend and laugh at the hammy-ness of magneto and the other bosses as you blast through it together. Just remember...

X-men the arcade game (Mame Arcade) Awesome5000
X-men the arcade game is the first x-men game to ever come out in the arcades back in early 1992.While you'll notice that there are two versions of the arcades, four players ,and another machine will be six players giving the gamers more advantage to add even more enemies on the screen putting together two television monitors for that to be possible.X-men arcade has six legendary x-men heroes that include wolverine, cyclops, colossus, dagger, night crawler, and storm.Fight through countless sentinels ,and also legendary villains such as pyro, blob, juggernaut, mystique ,wendigo, and more including the main villain character magneto.Pick any x-men character and take on the mission on your own to hunt down magneto or get three other players depending which version you're playing if its not the six player machine .The storyline is to save the city in the 21st century from magneto and his army of sentinels in this beat em up style similar to the arcade hit "Turtles in time" this game is packed with fast paced action and the level designs are brilliant and colorful, and has an amazing soundtrack .The gameplay is simple ,jump ,throw, attack, and a special power up which has a limit which you should use wisely against bosses and not wasted on regular enemies that can just take a simple strike. The cut scenes have fantastic artwork and there are only 7 levels to beat before you reach the last boss magneto in which is a small level that you can call the seventh but only has magneto in it and no enemies .I wouldve prefered 8 to ten levels instead ,where you can get a level on sky using the blackbird ,or even one more character added like gambit .Nonetheless,X-men the arcade game in my opinion is a pretty well made and decent game created by konami and continues to be one of x-men's greatest arcade hits to this day.

X-Men Arcade Harley3651
What can be said about X-men the arcade game that hasn't already been said? Not much really good or bad. But I'm here to throw in my two cents of information and give my take on the game. Graphics 9: I decided to put the graphics at a 9. While there good they aren't perfect as I noticed a few times in my play through that there was some flickering when the screen filled with enemies. It didn't happen to often but when it did it was pretty noticeable. Wasn't game breaking or made me want to stop, but it can get annoying after awhile. Sound 10: The music and sound effects in the game are perfect. That's why I gave this entry a perfect 10. The upbeat techno music you hear throughout the game makes you want to continue on and gets you pumped up for taking on the next batch of enemies. The sounds of the punches, kicks, and mutant powers are also a joy to listen to. Addictiveness 10: This game is so addictive. I ended up playing through the game a full 3 times before I sat down to write my review. It is that damn addictive. Its one of my favorite beat em ups of all time. Story 8: I gave the story an 8 cause all it really comes down to is The X-Men taking on Magneto and The Brotherhood. I have been told in the past that the game is based on an unreleased X-Man series or a story from the animated cartoon we got. I have never seen anything X-Men animated so I cannot confirm nor can I deny it. Maybe I shouldn't have given the story an 8 but based on the game alone its what I felt it deserved. Depth 4: The game has a depth of 4. Reason being is that at its core its a standard beat em up that's been slapped with an X-Men skin. There isn't a lot to it. Move left or right taking on mobs of robots and fight one of Brotherhood of Mutants as a final boss. While fun, the game get a bit repetitive after awhile. Difficulty 5: I gave the game a difficulty of 5. Its not hard but its not easy either. Its just kind of in the middle. The easy part is being able to pump in infinite credits to continue. Other than that its not overly hard at all.Overall 9.8: Overall I gave the game a score of 9.8. After taking in all the previous scores I felt that 9.8 was fair enough.Final Thoughts: For my final thoughts I still think over 20 years the game is fun to play. Would you get more enjoyment out of it if your a fan of the X-Men? Yeah you probably would. But even if you're a fan of the beat em up genre in general then you might just find this game fun enough to play through.
