This is an early build of the original version of Zelda, complete with different room layouts, sprite changes, new music, and odd glitches. This build shows how the initial design of Zelda was notably less difficult than the final build on NES (and Famicom). Practically all of the gameplay changes from this build to the final were made to make the game more challenging.

to get the switch button to appear on my comp I had to double click

i could not get the switch eject/insert buttons to work on IE but they worked on firefox so if you cant start the game try another browser

After the main title screen loads press SWITCH and then EJECT /INSERT to load side B. Press SWITCH and EJECT /INSERT one more time to play the game
