Star Wars: The Force Unleashed - Ultimate Sith Edition Review by: darthyoda - 9.5/10

Unleash the Force!
Think of all the Force powers in the Star Wars franchise, save the Healing used by Darth Plagueis [url]http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sith#Ranks/[url] All of these and some new ones are used in this epic Star Wars game! Become the most powerful Jedi/Sith ever! And, Spoiler, THE GAME IS AWESOME! Use Lightsabers and/or Force powers to play this great game!

Graphics: The graphics are some of the best I have in a Steam game! They have crisp graphics, with realistic lightning, a well done Orb that represents Force Push! You can change your Costume to be almost any Star Wars character, at least the ones I can think of. (You can't be Jabba the Hutt, but why would you want to?) These Costumes are designed and executed in a precise and brilliant way! One thing I found odd, is if you use the Lightning, there are some minor glitches, but these don't happen often, and it may just be because of my computer... Although my computer doesn't have a good graphics card, the game is still as crisp as ever!
Because of the Cristal Clear Graphics! I grant the graphics the great 9/10.

Sound: Have you ever wondered what it would sound like when you Push something with the Force. (Assuming that you could "Use the Force?" Well, let me tell you about it! The Whoosh of a powerful wave of a wall coming at you sounds just like a Whoosh! How about that Buzz, sound from the lightning? Or the Slashing of the Lightsaber? All of these sounds have been perfected in this Star Wars Masterpiece. They took some hints about songs from the Original movies, and they have created quite a few original pieces! The songs are great, as most Star Wars games' songs. The sounds are awesome, what else can I say?
How about a drum roll for this score? ....... *drum* ...... 9/10!

Addictiveness: Do you think it's fun to just annihilate everything? Well, with Star Wars the Force Unleashed you can! You really have the command to kill everything in your path, be it Jedi, Drone, or any creature, or man, KILL THEM ALL! You are the hidden Apprentice! But what does that have to do with Addictive quality of the game? Well, in this case, everything! It's really fun to just go and unleash havoc! It's fun to crush the Chicken Walker or to Force Grip the clone. All of this and more makes the game really fun, but not only fun, hard to stop! I'll discuss some features that also give it a fun feeling later, but I don't want to take away from here, so check back in when I get to the Depth, and Gameplay sections.
Would you call Addictiveness Adictive? I would, I give this 10/10.

Story: This story is better than many Star Wars game stories. You are the son of a Jedi, but you are much more powerful than he. You become Darth Vader's Apprentice, and you do his dirty work. This is only the beginning of the story! It's very well thought out and they did a good job of presentation. I feel like they kept the story moving, not letting it get boring or just fluctuate in excitement, but they built a steady increase of tension throughout the entire game! Because this is the Ultimate Sith Edition, there are extra levels, but only if you make a certain choice at the end! That's right, you need to choose Light Side or Dark Side! But, you will know which one is which by the time you make it there. This story can be summed up with just a few adjective, such as, awesome, cool, fun and well done!
I love the story, you even can get some extra levels and an after story! Would a 10/10 be in order?

Gameplay/Control: I have a few things that I think could have been done better, but for the most part, it's a smooth game with good key layouts! The combat is fluid, and the Force controls are pretty good! You have VERY powerful moves, and each move must have a precise control to go with it. You can do combos, for instance, if you press the force push button (E) while attacking with your lightsaber it is possible for him to do a wall of force, this pushes back several opponents, as will usually be the case when you are fighting. The only thing that is a little overly sensitive is the Force Grip, which honestly is one of the least used Force Powers. Although helpful, it isn't as important or useful as force push or lightning. The combat is smooth, and it is easy to transition between the targeted people! Overall, there is one problem, which would most likely be fixed if I went through the settings.

Depth: The game has much to do, even though it is a more linear game. There are Jedi and Sith Holocrons. These give temporary perks or permanent ones, the Jedi give things like Force Points, used to upgrade force powers, and Lightsaber crystals and power crystals, each of these changing color and giving an edge on close range combat. I like the lightning perk crystal, this gives a chance to deal some electrical damage when attacking! There are costumes, and many of them! There are the bonus levels and the normal levels, each one is a longer mission! They aren't the three minute maps, but more of a 15-45 minute map each! (Depending on how good you are.) For a linear game, there is so much to do! I am giving it a high score, because I'm sure I missed something... I also would like to mention that you have up-gradable force powers. I know, I already mentioned it, but this is when you level up, you get some force powers! You can choose three different areas which each have their own point, whether it be upgrading Lightsaber skills, Force Powers, like the Lightning, or upgrading affinities and combos. Each of these are able to be upgraded by a level of points earned, which are through various things.
Did I give the idea that there is really much to do? I hope so, and for the lengthy depth, I give it a large 9/10.

Difficulty: Taking down someone who has had years of training and has numeral people or objects to summon can be really hard, not to mention that you have to get the key sequence right to defeat every "boss." In order to defeat the opponent at the end, they'll tell you which key you need to press, but sometimes it's really hard to get it right the first time around. While taking out the normal guys you need to have the right time to block, or attack before they complete their attack, but it's not overly difficult. I had problems after the first boss, and when you get stuck, the bosses can get annoying, but you can keep going at it. It's not too hard, but it's still hard at times.
Although hard, it's not overly hard. I had to rate it a 9/10, because I kept dying on a certain level. (The Second one.) I give it a 9/10.

Overall/ Cut-Scenes: I am adding something into this part here, what about cut-scenes? Well. they did a good job of making the cut-scenes. The lip sync is right on, and the voice acting is good. Overall, the game is fun, has good story, but they did have the small issue with the Force Grip. I enjoy the detail they put into sound, and story. The sounds are just like they should be. (Like they are in the movies and other games.) The Story is good, and has a great conflict. You are split between light and dark side until the end. You have costumes, realistic animations with the lightsaber, and force powers. This addictive Star Wars masterpeice, deserves a high score, and I will give it the score it deserves! This amazing game gets a 9.5/10.

May the Force be with You!
