Well here I am for yet another game review for a Nintendo 64 game and its a classic game known as Space Invaders so many varieties of this game have been made and millions of people have come to terms with it and even T-shirts have been made of the iconic game which was made in 1978 quite a bit before I was even born but even I was gripped by this game So the Space Invaders franchise finally attacked the gaming world enough to make it to people's consoles of the Nintendo 64 and boy did it make a impact this version of the game was also made for the PS1 but as far as I'm aware there is extra bonus content in this which I will come on to later on in my review so without no more delays heres my review for Space Invaders on the Nintendo 64 Graphics-10 The levels to start with have been amazingly put together unlike previous older Space Invader games you will find that you will fend of aliens on the planets of the solar system and each planet will have a very well created background that makes you feel that your actually there as for the aliens they to have also been well designed the graphics for this game are truly a masterpiece reallySound-6 Unfortunately I felt that Space Invaders for the N64 was a little disappointing on the sound front and just a little I felt that the music dominated the game too much it could of been quieter so that you could your tank exploding missile fire towards the aliens and killing them but on the upside you do here enemies being exploded to bits and a pretty cool mothership sound when they fly over the sound could of been done a bit better maybe 1 or 2 extra things added to make the sound more alive again but it was ok Addictiveness-10 Now when iv played this iv normally played it till either i have got killed and lost all my tank lifes or to the point of where i have beaten the game there is over 60 levels to play on not just that but each planet you go to you'll find a brand new mysterious alien which can give you a special power up adding more addictiveness theres hours of fun to be had on this and this for me when completed i would happily do it again from the start Story-4 Back in 1978 Planet Earth successfully kept a attack out from outer space aliens thanks to ''The Tank'' The Tank is based on alien technology when a enemy scout ship crash landed now 20 years on the battle continues with a new better equipped tank and the Space Invaders are at it again with plans of taking over planet Earth can Earth survive? or will the Space Invaders kill all human life?Depth-10 There is so much to do in this game and so many levels there are hours of fun to be had on this game you'll travel to planets such as Pluto Mars Venus and even Earth as i said a little earlier in my review there are over 60 levels in this game and if you play in Expert Mode which is a little harder you'll even travel through what i would call for this game as bonus levels as even the PS1 version did not contain the levels thats not just it either for the younger ones who never got to play the classic Space Invaders games which were 1st of all made they even decided to give people there money's worth and chuck in a classic version going back to the game itself quickly though before i finish of this part of my review there is also a boss level at the final level of each planet you are on they really put alot into this and if you complete the expert game mode you will actually unlock whats called the ''maniac'' difficulty enemies move noticeably quicker and you also fire a little quicker toDifficulty-3 Finally its the last bit of my review the difficulty i would not really say that this is a very hard game its more than easy to dodge alien fire and the levels don't actually get harder as they go along unless you creep up the difficulty level the only tricky bit i feel is the actual boss levels some are easy but some are pretty tricky to defeat quickly and some will make you lose lives but other than this is a very playable game for anyone Overall-9 just short of a 10 for me i think if there was more sound this would of been safely my 1st review where i could say 10 out of 10 but just a little shortSpace Invaders for anyone is a must play game no matter what age you are this is a classic and also very brilliant addictive game to playi hope you've enjoyed reading my review of Space Invaders for the Nintendo 64 and i hope you enjoy playing this amazing game
