A New Twist to the Bakugan New Vestroia Series   Kenny
I never thought I would find myself liking a game like this. This is why I think this game is great
GRAPHICS 10: I think that the graphics were made pretty well for a game made for the Nintendo DS. The graphics in my opinion could have been have been just a tiny bit less blocky otherwise the graphics definitely get a ten out of ten.
Sound 9: The music was fitting for each area I was in during each of the missions or when I was fighting Bakugan. The sound effects were pretty well made but they could have been better in terms of delivery because their were times in the game when after I got hit the sound were happen at least 2 minutes after the blow. The voice acting in the game was not bad but they could have used more of it when the characters where talking in the cut scenes of story mode.
Addictiveness 7: This game can be slightly addictive to play again now and then but it easy to lose interest after beating it 2 times. I mean after playing it twice you pretty much have S rank in all the areas, you have found all the metal figurines, you have all the Bakugan in the database, obtained all the playable Bakugan plus their ability cards, and level up all the playable Bakugans' abilities it's kind hard to keep playing. Unless you have a friend who has the same game and can actually give you a challenge this game can get boring.
Story 10: The story is pretty good. You start in the Bakugan Battle Network training in how to play the game then next thing you know there is a problem in the system that causes the character you play as to be transported to a parallel universe. You then find out that your the only person who can brawl against the Vexos and destroy the crystals they scattered all over the Earth. Then you find out the planet has a spirit that wants you to help keep it alive and shows you how to protect monuments by using holograms. Just when every thing seems fine Drago is bakunapped and you have to get him back just to have an final epic show down between him and Helios who is a cyborg of all things. The story is one of the few that can have a good meaning behind it in the end that's way I think it deserves a ten out of ten.
Depth 8: The story can take a while to complete. You also need to try and obtain all the metal figurines, ability cards, and special Bakugan made especially to give you the character Maxus Helios while also trying to get S rank in all the missions. This can eat up a lot of time but not as much as you think. The part that can consume your time the most is getting to the end of an area while making sure you have opened all the chest on the way and not get caught.
Difficulty 6: I rate the difficulty of this game a six because of a few reasons. The first reason is that when you fighting the enemy Bakugan and trying to destroy the crystals you can sometimes forget that you can change your target with the L button or block long range attacks with the R button. The second reason is that you can have a hard time looking around in the game when your trying to avoid detection. Finally because you need those point things I forgot what there called to both increase the abilities of your Bakugan and create holograms you have try and decide which is more important.
I hope you enjoy this review.
