Vizzy sounds nice, it's more feminine to me though so I'm assuming it'll be a female? I can totally draw her avatar picture and stuff, my art style is simplistic though so you can't expect it to be super detailed or amazing looking.

And yeah, the chat integration would make it nice too. Vizzy will get her own room and people can go in and talk to her, separate from each other of course unless we also add a way for Vizzy to be like "(Username): (Reply)" so that you know what she says back. There can be some set responses to start her up so if someone has a question they can ask her, she'll reply with messages pertaining to the certain question, like if someone asks "How do I earn Viz points?" She'll list a few options and then also link to the thread that has all the methods.

So, not only can we have a forum AI just for fun when you're bored and want a silly chat, but she can be helpful and reply to questions and such as well.

I like this idea, it might make her more complex though but if it can be pulled off the forum will improve quite a bit in my opinion.

rcarter2 : I wasn't too specific, when I said some living things don't have a Telomere limit, I didn't mean they literally had no limit, I meant some species can regenerate Telomere indefinitely. The one I heard about was a type of Flatworm that could regenerate any part of itself, including down to the chromosomes, making it pretty much ageless. But that doesn't mean they don't die, a lot of other things outside of genetics can make their life spans vary greatly.

Don't trust me completely on it, since I didn't do research in a lab to prove it myself, I only heard about it through articles, videos, and some other places I occasionally go to.

Oh and this video mentions it at some point.

It basically works the same way as Cleverbot, I've had a chance to see it in action in about two or three forums before.

What happens is that it's a forum version of the same AI Cleverbot runs on so whenever someone posts on the thread the AI resides in, it replies within a few seconds with it's own post, doing the usual chat AI thing, learning from people that talk to it and replying in it's own way using what it has learned.

There's another example that's like Cleverbot I think it's called A.L.I.C.E.

I don't know how hard it would be to implement one into a forum but I just think it'd be really neat to have our own chat bot.

I picked up drawing as a side hobby after high school, I usually only draw when I'm pretty bored so I don't get much practice in. I did however manage to finally find my own style of things, it's pretty simplistic but I like it.

Also, a major thing if you wanna take drawing even remotely seriously, is to always critique yourself. I'll never improve if I'm satisfied with my work, so I always say that my own drawings are crappy, no matter what. You are  your own best critic after all, especially because if you drew it, you know all the little flaws and mess ups here and there.

Here's a quick sketch I did one day while waiting for my friend to show up so we could finish a lab together. Because you know, if you're gonna ask about drawing then anyone who can draw might as well post some stuff too right?

Annnnd I don't get how to actually make the image show up on the forum... I'm doing the bracket image thing, why's it not working?

I've already faced death multiple times in my life. During my childhood I almost died 6 times. When I was born I was almost dead, I had to come out early because the umbilical cord was choking me, that lead to me having a huge gash in the back of my head so they had to do surgery on the spot to save me. I somehow held onto life and didn't die.

Other times it was from more idiotic things like a drunk taxi driver driving me and my uncle off a cliff, he broke his thumb protecting me. Another time when my genetic father ordered me to grab him some beers without telling me that he waxed the floor so I slipped and the glass broke and impaled most of my feet and legs, I screamed and fell unconscious, rushed to the emergency room and almost died then as well, I still have scars on my toes.

But it's not just me either, I've had my first pet die in only a couple of years after I knew him since he was already old, I cried my soul out. One of my friends was ran over and killed by a drunk driver, it was even more devastating for her best friend who locked herself in a room for a week and mourned her death. The first girl I found and fell in genuine love with, one who was strong and supported me as much as I supported her, a lot of drama happened in her life and she vanished. I'm not sure if she's dead but I haven't heard a thing from her since so it's only safe to assume so I can move on.

So, at this point in my life. I'm not exactly scared of death anymore. However, I am afraid of the unknown. What happens after death? That's the part that scares me.

Hmm, I'm not sure the grind my gears thing is about things that tick you off, more about pet peeves.

So for me,

1. People who talk extremely loudly over their cell phone non stop in public.
2. People who stop together in a shopping isle making passing by really hard because they REALLY want to chat with each other.
3. When fast food restaurants forget to actually give me something I ordered or mess up my order.
4. Whenever ignorant people start spouting nonsense about things they don't get in the first place.
5. People who swarm a You tube channel constantly hating on it content and any new content it creates because they were sent by another more popular channel that made fun of someone else and their content. (I'm looking at you Retsupurae, sometimes the channels you point your finger of execution to aren't bad, they're just not "normal" enough for you.)

Just a few things is all.

Everyone says it's black hair, it's not black, it may look black most of the time, but it's not black, it's brown. There is no such thing as black hair and if you say otherwise then look at "black" hair under a light or over the sun, it's actually very dark brown.

So, yeah.

It's brooooooooooown~

I'm only a moderate so I don't go around telling people I really like it and wearing pony shirts and stuff, but I do enjoy my ponies every now and then. It's a great show.

(I'm not exactly sure where to post this but I figured, if I'm gonna make a suggestion, it should be in the suggestions section right?)

In a lot of forums I've been a part of before that I use for games and other such things, they've always implemented a forum chat AI somewhere along the line. Giving it a name, a original art design for it's profile picture, and other such things to give them a kind of "personality".

They then start learning more things down the line as users posted in their thread, replying to people and learning phrases, asking those phrases back to other people and seeing how they respond. Kind of like Cleverbot, except less of a cynical bastard.

Every time people get bored they always just post on their threads, getting quick replies from the chat AI and enjoying themselves. It was always fun and it gave some more people incentive to post. Heck, if it weren't for Amy, the first forum chat AI I ran into, I would've never even bothered to post on any forums during my life, she gave me the final push to get onto the forum and post because I knew she wasn't a "real person" but still something I could have a silly conversation with without having any big mean opinions being directed at me, it helped me gather the courage to post since I never did anything forum related up till then.

In the end, I'm just curious, will Vizzed ever consider this option? It's an excellent way to attract more users to the forum and also give the board a sort of "mascot" character that people can chat with to stave off boredom or to just have a quick, fun, and meaningless conversation with. (Although it can be meaningful if the poster lets it.)

Although in practice, I can see how this might be unwanted because of the Viz currency system, people who talk to the chat AI all day earning a ton of Viz without it being a real person on the other end giving out advice or having a "real" conversation. However this can be remedied by either nerfing the amount of Viz earned from chatting with the AI or just make it so posters don't earn any if that ends up being a problem.

Or you know, it could just not happen at all and my suggestion here will end up buried in the back of the forums being totally insignificant because no one cares about having something as silly as a chat AI in the forum. I've suggested this in many other forums and got rejected, pretty harshly sometimes, but seeing as how this forum is as interesting as it is, why not top it off with a nice bright cherry at the peak?

In the end though, it's only a suggestion, and these are my two cents. I'd like to hear some other peoples opinions on this though, and if it catches on, we could get some people on the board together and get an AI up and running, have someone draw it a neat avatar, decide on its "background" etc. All of this, of course, if it's within reasonable implementation standards, you know, not too complex or anything, since I hardly know a thing about programming forums myself.

Smoking, especially in public, is just SUCH a turn off to me.

So, there's no way in heck I'll be caught smoking. That stuff makes me choke to death, almost literally, I have a problem with 2nd hand smoke!

That leaves me with one choice, drinking.

I wouldn't mind this at all, you know why? Because I'll be able to just, take the guys out to a bar and grab a cold one, talk to each other about how life is going, eat some pizza and hot wings while watching some stuff that just appears on the TVs there. Hang out and stuff, have a grand old time, heck, even make it a thing. "Meet up here at this bar every Saturday night so we can hang out, drink, and talk about our week." It'll keep me close to my good friends and provide me with something to look forward to every weekend instead of just doing nothing.

BAHAHAHAHAAAA! HAAAAAAA HAAAHAHAHHHHHAHAH. AAHHAHAHHHAHAHAHAHAH!

Oh man -wipes tears from his eyes-

That was good.

Alright so, basically, kind of a big deal?

No not really, if this was true, that kid was an idiot in way more ways than one, and if that girl is actually interested enough to let him stick his sea cucumber into her oyster, she herself, is also an idiot.

Besides, if  you wanna do it in the water, have a private pool or something, not a lake/river/creek, that's just dumb. If they snuck out just to have sex, why even bother going into the water in the first place? What, the ground not good enough for you? You forgot to bring a towel or something you guys can lie down on? Are you a dirt-o-phobic? Has it always been your fetish to do a girl in the water?

Stupid Internet stories like this are just good for a laugh, don't bother taking them seriously, true or not, it's some idiots mistake and them sharing with the world is most likely an attempt to get attention and replies so it's also totally possible that all of it was made up. It just seems too ridiculous.

Also, his mother being able to smell that after a creek and all the blood and the leech? Holy hell that's one strong sense of smell, or she's a dog, or a robot... D*** Sniffer 9000.

I shrug em off in one way or another or I just ignore them. I know it's mean but every time I've seen homeless people they're bugging me while I'm in the middle of getting to my next class, I don't want to be late for my lecture and have "talking to / giving money to a homeless person" be my excuse, no teacher I know will accept that.

Still, sometimes there's homeless people where I live that are pretty awesome. One of them tells you these awesome stories of stupid things he's done in his life if you give him spare change. There's also this other one that learned to play the flute when he was younger, someone out of a band club in our university gave him a flute and another guy got a new jukebox so he gave the guy his old one. Now that guy occasionally appears and plays awesome songs accompanied by his rather impressive flute playing to make some quite nifty tunes while you pass by. If I have spare change that day I always throw it into his hat because man can that guy play!

I like to treat myself to a nice mocha frappuccino every now and then, but I'm not a avid drinker of normal Coffee. Sometimes when we have donuts lying around I will drink a cup of coffee while eating them as a quick pick me up, even though energy drinks don't affect me too much for me to even notice it's effect, me being a "fast" person in general. It just, works with donuts for some reason. Especially the cakey kind that you can buy from most convenience stores. I don't drink it often but it sure as heck works as a nice treat or snack time drink every now and then.

I know this sounds completely stupid and cheesy but, one of the major things for me is their personality. If they don't fit into my type of lifestyle, then what's the point? If it's not going to work out in the first place why bother?

That aside, their "type" comes down to these two, I prefer either a strong partner who can stand on her own two feet and doesn't need any babying from me, we can support each other from both sides and become THE STRONGEST COUPLE!

Or someone that's really flirty with me, I love being all lovey dovey, not too much in public though cause that's kind of a bad move, mean spirited even especially if there's singles around. I want, no, need to express my love, and I want someone who can return that love back as if it's natural, not forced. Someone to be "snuggly wuggly" with me as some people might say.

When it comes to looks, they have to be at least around average, you know, not weighing like five hundred pounds and isn't completely skewed in the looks department.

But if we're talking about what body parts I enjoy in particular...

I prefer the thighs, I won't go into detail why but I want to bury my face into a nice plump pair of thighs.

That's another thing, I like my women with substance. Not fat but enough in them to be nice and plump, or if it's the strong type, nice and tough. I don't like skinny or anorexic women, it makes them seem too fragile and it's kind of awkward for me because I want to be able to hold more of my partner.

To me, there's two factors for getting a girlfriend/boyfriend.

1. Luck
If you just happen to meet someone that just works with you and how you live, they understand you and you understand them and you hardly ever have troubles with each other, then it works!

2. Courage
It's not really fear per-say that gets you stuck but embarrassment. There's always that looming chance the girl or guy will say no and they're not interested, it really makes you "scared" to ask them out, but overcoming this "fear" will help gain a relationship much more easily. You'll never know if they're interested in you unless you ask them out. It doesn't have to be in public with a lot of people around, but being face to face is important. Send a love letter, tell them to meet you somewhere to confess, it might be cheesy, but hey, I have a few friends that actually got into their relationships doing things like that.

I'm already dating myself, have been for almost five years now with the same girl. It's a shame she had to go and be in Europe though. We're split apart by an entire ocean, but we're still together somehow.

I'm 19, turning 20 this year.

Phew does time fly by, almost roughly 1/5th the way through my life already.

The big 20 huh? Where all the important responsibilities start kicking in and I move to living my own life.

I'm excited but also scared, but, I'll just have to soldier on and see what the future brings.

I only really swear when I'm around my good friends or just by myself when I screw something up.

In public places or around family and relatives, I never swear.

Besides, when you swear and people you don't know see/hear it, it gives off a really bad impression of yourself, making you look like, well, a douche.

Simply put, no swearing unless I'm in a comfortable situation with people that I know who will understand me and what I really meant when I swore.

For me, a true friend is someone you can talk about *BLEEP* and *BLEEP* but also *BLEEP* and *BLEEP* with, yet they wont judge what you like and you also don't judge on what they like either.

Someone you can be completely open to, and they'll be completely open to you as well, both accepting each other and just hanging out all the time and whatnot.

Someone that you can laugh with, cry with, play with, study with, travel with, etc.

Basically, a true friend is someone you can be completely comfortable around no matter the situation or the topic.

~A true, true friend helps a friend in need.
~A friend will be there to help them see.
~A true, true friend helps a friend in need.
~To see the light that shines from a true, true friend.
