The next movie that I plan on seeing is Kong: Skull Island.

I'm a huge fan of monster and horror movies, and the trailer for this one looks pretty spectacular. And, luckily, there's an IMAX theater just down the road a piece.

I suppose that my unpopular gaming opinion would be that I really don't like shooting games of any kind. They just make me tense the whole time I'm playing, and I don't enjoy that feeling...it spoils the whole experience for me

The last movie I saw in the theater was the latest M. Night Shymalan thriller, SPLIT.

I won't spoil it by giving details, but it was very good with a great twist-ending. I would highly recommend it to fans of the genre.

Whenever I'm having trouble sleeping, I find that reading a book helps to relax me.

Of course, if the book I'm reading is particularly exciting, reading sometimes has the opposite effect.

But, typically when I read at night, I find myself nodding off after a while.

The oldest video game I played was Pong when it first came out (yes, I'm an old guy!). Even though it was wildly popular at the time, I got bored with it pretty quickly.

The first old game I really enjoyed was Zork, an interactive fiction game on the Commodore 64. I used to spend hours playing it!

The strangest and most incredibly uncomfortable place I have ever slept was the  Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport.

This was several years back, during a powerful thunderstorm. Many flights were cancelled (including mine) and quite a few people ended up spending the night in the airport.

It was noisy all night long, and the bright lights are definitely not conducive to sleep. To top it off, this was when the H1N1 flu was prevalent, and I was very sick for several weeks after. To this day, I really dislike that airport.
