This game.
I had this on my Game Boy Advance and I loved this game. Why? As other star wars games on the Game Boy Advance only focused on one particular episode, this one focused on all 3 of the original trilogy.
Graphics: 8 The graphics look pretty good for Game Boy Advance standards, although it is a 2.D. side scrolling game, it still looks good with nice, smooth, animations for each character, as if they were the real actor (although Luke's face looks like it was made from 2 pixels), but the graphics are still pretty good. There are no Full Motion Video cut scenes in this game, just still images.
Sound: 7 They did a pretty good job of compressing John Williams's soundtrack into little pixelated noises that sound pretty close to the original songs. The sound effects however, sound just okay, as they too, like other games for the console, sounded like pixels. There is little-to-no voice acting in this game however.
Addictiveness: 7 This game is still fun to play to this day, even on the Game Boy Advance, as the game looks great and the controls are pretty good for the console.
Story: 9 It's Star Wars, how could there be no story? The game starts with a young farm boy named Luke Sky walker going on a journey to stop the evil empire and save the galaxy. The same story as the movies pretty much. Except you are playing as Luke the whole game.
Depth: 7 If you are not careful, the campaign can take HOURS to complete, as you may get lost on the way to the end of the stage, besides the campaign there is also survival mode where you have to survive against enemies that are being thrown at you. There is also multiplayer or some of it if I remember correctly.
Difficulty: 9 As I mentioned, the game can be hard if not treated like a star wars game, with tons of enemies that just randomly appear anywhere, to a whole bunch of difficult platforming sections, if you want a challenge, this game is for you.
OVERALL: 7.5 This game is an average game for a Star Wars fan that they may or may not enjoy. Like most Game Boy Advance games, this game can be found for cheap online or in a store depending on where you find it. This game could have been so much more however, as it could have contained Full Motion Video cut scenes and voice acting for the characters. Sure, it would have sounded like it came out of a Super Nintendo, but it would have been more fun to feel like you are in the game. It just feels like a strange attempt to do so. I am not saying that the game is bad, nor am I saying that it is great either. I am pretty much explaining that if you have a Game Boy Advance and you need some games for it, then you definitely should give this one a try, and try to finish the game entirely. It may be difficult, but not impossible. So yes, you should get this okay game. This game.
