Bella's Mansion, Bulldozer Studios new RPG Maker Survival Horror game, has recently been completed. However, it is now in need of play testers; People who can play through the game and report any bugs that they encounter so I can fix them, before the games official public release on August 20th ( and I'm glad I was able to finish the game so fast; 18 Days is A LOT of time to fix any bugs still left in the game ). I will be uploading the finished game tomorrow, but it will not be publicly released until August 20th. If you would like to volunteer for play testing, Send me a PM and I will get back to you tomorrow, including the download link to get the game.

Playtesters who volunteered before 12:00 PM PST on 8/3/2016 were given the 6 codes that enable the special game modes. As of right now, you can still volunteer to playtest the game, but you will not be given the game codes.

There is only ONE rule I want you to follow. And it is:

- DO NOT publicly release the games download link. That's not until August 20th!

NOTE: Please remember that the game handles your completion rating and your grade differently, depending on how many of the text documents you found, whether or not you saved, and whether or not you used the herb in the save rooms while on Nightmare mode. If I wrote everything out correctly, finding all the text documents on HARD mode should give you %100 completion, as well as an "A" grade ( or "B", if you saved at any point ), while completing Nightmare ( which is impossible ) should give %105, and an "S" grade ( assuming you don't use a herb, in which case, it will be "A" ). This is something I have NEVER seen implemented in an RPG Maker game before, and I felt it was worth giving it a try. Likewise, finding NONE of the text documents, and saving at any point, should net you an "F" grade. So, for the sake of making sure the end completion rating and grade work
correctly, make sure to go for different completion ratings and grades.

Also, please remember that playing with any game code enabled ( excluding Nightmare mode ) will automatically set the game difficulty to "Easy".

The games been uploaded ( 312 MBs, PHEW ), the download link has been sent to the playtesters, and now, all there is for me to do is wait for their feedback. As of right now, I will no longer be handing out the codes for the special game modes; You'll have to earn them yourself. Playtesting will continue until August 19th, at which point, I will end the playtesting phase and prepare the game for it's final public release.

Thanks for helping me out, everyone, and enjoy the game!

( Oh, and as an added side note, feel free to feature it on your Let's Play YouTube channel, if you want to. Just remember not to give out the download link! )

Unfortunately my laptop isn't able to run this game correctly, it has severe latency after the intro as soon as the character is controllable. The character will stop in mid-track and then disappear/reappear at a different part of the screen.

Hopefully the other play-testers will have better luck with it.

Also btw, I like how you included in the intro 'Engine provided by Vizzed Board'.

EDIT: Adjusting the game's affinity from 'All Processors' to CPU 1 corrects the latency to where the character is at least controllable, but it doesn't completely remove it.

Bad news: My computer has been hyper-fried, meaning I have no way of uploading the final version of the game, and may not be able to upload it until at least the end of August, if not September.

Unless somebody is willing to forward the money for a new PC, or send me one intact, I'm going to have to put Bella's Mansion on hold. Ugh, this is such crud...

And that's a wrap, folks! With the games release less then 48 hours away, I am hereby ending the playtesting phase. Wow... So many bugs had managed to slip through my fingers. With any luck, they've all been removed and fixed. There's even been some minor improvements. And that's always a plus!

I wanted to give a hearty thanks to everyone who assisted with the playtesting of the game. Thanks to your efforts, the bugs have been fixed, and the game is ready for its public release. Though my computer met an unfortunate end, I have the game backed up on a thumb drive, so it can be released on the 20th as planned ( it's already been uploaded; I just have to put the download link on Bulldozer Studios webpage! ).

Thank you all for the assistance, and enjoy the game!
