Winter 2016 SNES Netplay Tournament Week 7

Me and Splice12 played 2 games this week, I won both games.


Our first game was Mrs. Pac-Man I lost all of my lives first but the ghosts had other plans.

Supersonic2 (Mrs. Pac-Man): 8,870 (1 - 0)

Splice12 (Pac-Man): 3,090 (0 - 1)


Our second game was Street Fighter 2 - Turbo: Hyper Fighting

I won all 3 matches to win this week's match-up.

Supersonic2 (Ryu & Ken): 3 Matches (2 - 0)

Splice12 (Ken & Chun-Li): 0 Matches (0 - 2)

I wish Splice12 good luck in future tournaments.

I beat Jordanv78 3 to 1.

He picked NBA Jam and beat me 58 to 56.

This was really close and his amazing clock management prevented me from matching his score.

I then picked Super Bomberman 4 and beat him 5 to 0. We didn't get a screenshot of this due to me forgetting because of netplay issues we were having with the netplay server going down.

He then picked Ms. Pac-Man and I beat him 38,850 to 28,870.

I died before he did but I had put up too high of a score for him to reach with 1 life remaining.

Finally I picked Tetris Attack and beat him 3 stars to 0.

He did well considering he's never really played the game much.

I'm happy that I lasted as long as I did in the tournament, considering when they whole thing started, I knew I was going to have a hard time considering how little experience I with 5 of the games in the tournament. Only Mario Kart, NBA Jam and PacMan do I have decent experience in.

The only point in which I was mad at myself was forgetting to use the Pacboost all the way until part of the way into the 2nd stage.

I was happy with the way I hung tough in Tetris Attack though.
