I liked Crash 1. I really like Crash 2. I absolutely adore Crash 3. This is an extraordinary game. The level atmospheres are very unique, taking you to the prehistoric age, medieval time, and many more. Also, new types of non-platform levels are introduced, which are motorcycle racing and flying. In addition, the boss fights are quite good, with the cortex fight in particular. Plus, there are relics to collect for completing levels in specific amounts of time. Sapphire is usually obtainable, but gold and especially platinum can get your blood boiling. In conclusion, this is a fantastic game. In fact, it's my personal favorite Crash game.

Your review barely qualifies as one with barely 107 words. You did game an overview of the game, but if you plan on making more reviews, you should keep this in mind.

- make paragraphs. Clumping all the text together makes for a difficult read.
- the classical format for a review is evaluate the various metrics you already rate (graphics, music, story, etc.) Make sure you go into details to show us what the game is about.
- a personal favorite, especially for series like Crash Bandicoot: make comparisons. Are the graphics better in 3 than 2 or 1? Has the music improved?

janus : I'm going to expand the comparison advice as this: explain why. Don't just say "I like this, and I like that," and then fail to explain why.

Also... While you're perfectly fine stating your opinion on certain aspects of a game (even in a review; no reviewer is without bias), you should try to be more objective than subjective on many matters, and, even on the subjective points, why did you enjoy so-and-so? Is it possible that others might not enjoy what you did within the game? If so, why (besides just stating that it's a subjective point)?

Graphics and Sound are pretty objective overall, but when going over addictiveness, you should keep in mind that opinions with base are perfectly okay. In fact, in my opinion, the best reviews are those that don't just state the facts as they are, but also include the reviewer's input. Does this give scores bias? Of course it does. But not everything in a game is completely subjective.

I may sound overly negative when I take a look at these reviews, but that's because I honestly see potential in even the shorter reviews such as yours. Keep working at it, listen to others and their criticisms, and keep trying. I look forward to seeing how you improve.
