I beat Jordanv78 in the 3rd Place matchup 17 to 7. I chose NFC and it ultimately paid off only becaus Aaron Rodgers was the QB. I was making most of my passes while Jordanv78 was having some bad luck with his.

It was actually a low scoring game when you consider the fact that it was 8 minute quarters. It was definitely a defensive game which is ironic since the Pro Bowl is always known to lack defense and be primarily an offensive game. Interestingly the matchup also took a while at around 42 minutes but that's because of the 8 minute quarters and us chatting so much during the game (probably due to me mostly).

Jordanv78 : Sorry about that last field goal at the end. It was a quick decision that I didn't really even put thought into. I guess my instincts of the regular season kicked in where scoring as many points as possible is good for your net points. I should've just let the clock continue to run down which I had been doing with my run plays.

Good game though considering you were under the weather and had the handicap of that.

Davideo7 : No problem. It was interesting to say the least with how buggy the Pro Bowl was. At least it was a low scoring game. Hopefully the Superbowl is a good game as well.

Jordanv78 : Yeah the Pro Bowl in Tecmo Super Bowl is definitely buggy with the playbook. Like I said before, I think this is because they didn't think to test out the Pro Bowl feature when bug testing since it's one of those features that rarely anyone thinks about or uses. I actually think it may have been only the 2nd time I've ever done the Pro Bowl, the other time being when I was probably 8 years old lol.

Davideo7 : Yeah, I'm sure you are right. Which is kinda weird because they took the extra steps to totally change the music for that matchup.

I don't remember ever doing it before. So I'm sure if I ever did, it was in the original version way back when.

Jordanv78 : The original Tecmo Super Bowl had music in the Pro Bowl, I just checked.
