So I just did  this review and it vanished now I have to do it all over again the joy....

Graphics 7/10

The Graphics are pretty stellar for a game on the GBC. Most of the time you will do standard kick and punch combos but every character has their own animations and fighting style that's unbelievable love for detail right there. And the special attacks look so gorgeous. It doesn't matter  if it is Gokus Spiritbomb or Friezas Super Dash Elbow. It looks awesome and does tons of damage. Compared to other games from this time that's pretty good.

Sound 8/10

The Sound of the game is also great given the limitations of the GBC. The normal battle music for example used in the training fights or for most of the time is pretty nice and rhythmic. And then there are pretty intense music for the story heavy fights like Goku vs Frieza. Also the music for the story sequences are great.

Addictiveness 10/10

This game is so addictive for many reasons.

First of all you can level the stats of every single character like you want it. For Example full physical damage Gohan or pure KI monster Goku with devastating Spiritbombs.

Secondly you can get EVERY SINGLE CHARACTER TO PLAY. That's huge given also all the different forms for many of them.

For the 3rd Reason: After you played through the game the first time you can enter everytime a new game plus keeping everything you ever earned on earlier playthroughs. Making it Possible to get every single character and every single ability in the game.

I played this game on my old Game boy Color and I played through it at least 100 times without any tools to speed up the story sequences (that's an awful lot believe me).

Also after the first Playthrough comes the Brawl mode. There you get a random enemy  in a random form and after a few wins you will get a lot of cards and levels.

Story 10/10

This should be rather self explanatory. It is freaking DBZ story. not a part of it nearly the whole DBZ in a GBC game that's pretty overwhelming given the limitations. I think I don't have say anything about it.

Depth 8/10

So for the depth... As already mentioned its nearly the whole Dragonball Z storyline. A Gameboy Color Game can't get more deep than that. And there are so many secrets after the first playthrough. For example if you fight Cell with  Vegeta after a certain event in the Story you will unlock two secret chapters with more backstory for trunks and Cell new items and new Battles. and that's just one secret there are so many in this game even after 100 playthroughs I had to google the last few things to get them.

Difficulty 7/10

So the first playthrough is pretty easy as you learn all the power full and special abilities of all the characters. After that in every following playthrough the enemies will get a lot stronger and more random in their move set (especially Frieza that little.....)  So it gets pretty hard but that's just the beauty of the game.

Final Call 9/10

This game is legendary. If you are a DBZ Fan you have to play it. And even IF you dont like DBZ this game is so much strategy and fun that you should give it a shot. Thanks for reading this review and play on my vizzards.
