So, I was editing all of my videos, and I saw syndication. I did some research, and I can't quite figure out what it supposed to be. 

Can anybody enlighten me on just what it is?

Where exactly did you see this? Did it end up in the video or something? Normally it means something along the lines of taking something that's done but continuing it somewhere else, like a tv show that gets moves to a new channel

But this means your video has to transcoded into additional formats that can be displayed on those devices. I believe this is in regards to if you want your videos available on formats that do not allow for advertising
