Ever since I have started playing games on my phone, I had played many great games, but this one takes the cake as possibly the greatest mobile game that I have ever played. The only problem that I can find with this game is that you need an internet connection, meaning that it can't be played all the time, but when you can play it, it's amazing. I have played a game like this on Facebook before and I liked it but I quickly lost interest in the game after playing it for just a couple of days however this game is very different. Of course being able to play this on your phone automatically makes it better than the Facebook version, at least for me, and I think this might also be the same game that's played on Facebook, not just a game based off it or a knock off like some people people make.

If you want to compare this to other games, think if it as a combination of Nintendogs and Angry Birds Epic, both games are amazing and when you combine them you get something that's even better. The game has so many things to do from building up a bunch of islands to breed and raise all sorts of dragons to battling other dragons in possibly more than a hundred levels. Even though needing internet could be a problem, I soon grew to like the ability of visiting other people massive creations, and battling against others. In terms of what the game has to offer, I'm going to argue that this has more than any other mobile game that I have played yet and I have played a lot of games, and it can be proven by my playing two to four hours a day for the last week.

GRAPHICS 10/10

When you have a game that offers so many levels and so many dragons and different things to do, you would think that the graphics would be affected in a bad way since most of the resources would be allocated towards different aspects, but that's not the case at all. Just as much effort had been put into the graphics as any other aspect and it shows because this game can easily be the best graphics that I have seen in a mobile game. Of course, needing internet all the time could play a huge part in this since you would have access to more space at all times. All the aspects of the graphics are amazing, from the colors to the designs and details, and even the animations. The colors and the details and whatnot are all really good, but they don't match up to the awesomeness of the animations, which are just amazing.

In my opinion, the game has a perfect combination of epic coolness and funny cartoons because half of the dragons look like something that you would see in Jurassic World and the other half look like something you would see in the How to Train your Dragons movies, and that's fine. When it comes to the designs, everything is amazing, there are more than 80 dragons in the game and each of them have their own unique look. Some of the rare dragons look mean and cool and then some of the more common ones have a goofy expression. But that's only when they are young, each time a dragon levels up they get bigger and more cool looking, even the epic ones that already look awesome. The colors work the sane way and there are colors all over the place. Each habitat has its own unique color scheme, all the buildings and islands are full of color, and some of the dragons have a few unique color patterns as well. Heck, you even have a Candy Dragon that's literally just striped in like 3 or 4 different colors, maybe even more.

Just all those aspects alone would warrant a realm good grade, but as I had mentioned earlier, the animations are the best part of the graphics and they are super awesome, everything moves. When you are in a habitat, there's all sorts of graphics for you to see, when you are petting them, every single dragon has their own unique animation and when you are feeding them you can see them walking around, begging for food, and eating. Even when you aren't in the habitat but are on one of the islands, you can still see them walking and even flying around. On top of all that, there's all sorts of battle animations. Every different type of attack has its own animation and when a dragon is attacked there's another animation. The animations alone are amazing and when you combine them together with the other aspects of graphics you have yourselves one stellar category and for a grade, it doesn't deserve anything lower than a 10 out of 10 with all sorts of extra credit.

SOUND 8/10

The sounds of the game at pretty good, when it comes to both the sounds and the music. There's only one real song that plays and I plays only when you are in the main menu and the game is loading but the song is really good in my opinion. The game is all about dragons and Vikings, and the music is really everything you would expect from both dragons and Vikings in one epic song. If I could download this song and listen to the full version over and over, I would because its that great. There's like 5 other songs used but i only really liked this one. The sounds of the game aren't that great but they are still pretty good. When you are in the islands, you can hear all sorts of nature sounds, when you are petting and feeding your dragons, each one makes its own little sound, whenever you press something, there's a sound, and there's a few sounds scattered throughout battles. If the song was played at other points or there were more songs like that one over the course of the game, there would be nothing to stop this aspect from being perfect but it's still really good and my grade for sound is going to be an 8 out of 10.

ADDICTIVENESS 10/10

You probably wont even be able to comprehend how much fun this game until you have actually given it a try but for now you can take my word for it, all of my great words about it. The game really is that much fun to play, and there's so much that you can do to keep you occupied. First there are the dragons to breed and take care of, then there's the aspects of the island because you need to actually run them with money and all sorts of buildings, and then you also have all sorts of battles in top of that. Just taking care of your dragon is a lot of fun, you get to pet them, you can feed them, and you can train them in cool little mini games. If you are a fan of those games where you get to take care of animals, like me, then there's the first sign that this game is going to be a lot of fun. You even have a cool collection aspect when you are breeding your dragons because each one has it's own rank and when you at breeding dragons, you can collect all sorts of dragons of different ranks that include common, uncommon, rare, elite, legendary, and boss. It's the same as collecting cards like sports cards, Pokemon cards, or even Steam trading cards, but it's a whole lot more fun.

Once you have had your fun with that aspect of the game, you can go onto battling which is also a lot of fun. There has to be at least a hundred of different levels for you to go through where you get to pit your dragons against other dragons and evil Vikings or even face off against other players. That's really just the start of all the things that you can do because there's so much more for you to do from all sorts of various quests and explorations to special events and other things. There's never a lack of things for you to do and you will always find yourself having a good time playing this game and for a grade, this aspect gets another perfect 10 out of 10.

STORY 7/10

For the most part, the game revolves around breeding, collecting, and training dragons and that takes up a lot of stuff but there's still a pretty decent story that involves some Vikings and a codex. The main story is about how someone who is like the owner of the islands gets kidnapped by Vikings and you need to face off against their dragons to get him back. From there, the story revolved around rebuilding the dragon academy and continuing to fight the Vikings and that's about it aside for various quests. There's not a lot but what there is happens to be really long and for a grade, this aspect gets a 7 out of 10.

DEPTH 10/10

I'm sure that you should have an idea by now about how much depth there is in the game. I already talked about how many awesome things there are scattered throughout it and I barely scratched the surface because there's so many more things about the game and what it has to offer. First off we have the number of dragons which I already mentioned a few times before and there's more than 80 of them. If the game had just one dragon for each type they would probably have like 8 and I would be fine but the developers went all out with making sure that you had a huge collection of dragons to work with. There's enough dragons to ensure you need to play for many many hours before you can get all of them and there's more than enough habitats and buildings to go along with that.

Guess what? There's even more! Next up you have the sheer size of the game and its islands. The main game starts you off with one island to work with that can probably for like two dozen buildings but ad you get more money, you can buy more islands and there's probably another 5 or so islands. It gets even bigger when you look at the battling side of the game because instead of just listing battles, the developers created huge maps to place the level selections on. I haven't played through all the battle levels but there really has to be hundreds of levels to choose from spread out over half a dozen or so gigantic islands. Beyond that there's so much more, you have hundreds of different quests to complete and multiplayer events and even more. For a grade, this aspect gets yet another perfect 10 out of 10.

DIFFICULTY 3

The game isn't difficult at all for a number of reasons. One thing about the game that I like is that even though you can pay real money to buy upgrades and stuff, everything can be bought with gems which can be earned in the game. Even VIP upgrades can only be bought with them. That makes it a heck of a lot easier for those who don't want to spend real money to do well because you can just earn them for doing random stuff. Everything else is a walk in the park, if you lose a battle or do really bad there's a few things that you can do that are quite easy. You can either switch your dragons for a better level/type combo. You can only use three dragons in a battle but eventually you can choose from dozens to put into your battle. If your dragons are too weak all you need to do is train them which is very easy. You can either have them level up by feeding them 4 times or you can train them with the training mini game which is really cheap to do. The only other tough aspects you can face in the game would be space, such as not enough habitats for the dragons that you want. The only thing that to can do for this is to wait it out and make more money from easier battles or from collecting from habitats which is really doable and easy. Overall this game is terribly easy and for a grade this aspects gets a 3.

OVERALL 9.6/10

Overall, the game has so much potential to be one of the best mobile games that you can play and the fact that it's free makes it so much better. If you like any of the aspects of the game, then that one aspect alone should be enough to persuade you to get it because each individual aspect is really so awesome. This is a special game that has something for everyone and then a little more on top of that. It's just incredible and I really suggest that you play it for yourself and then agree that you love it because you most likely will. It's one of the best mobile games ever and my overall grade for it is going to be a 9.6 out of 10.
