Super Mario Kart is probably one of my favorite games out of all the Mario games. My sister even let me borrow her Nintendo DS Mario Kart game and I love it. Very unique in it's own way even if it is just the Super Nintendo version. If I had to pick out of all the systems to play Super Mario Kart, I would probably stick with the Super Nintendo version .. I mean the other versions are great in their own way but I just overall like this version the best.

Graphics and Music  :
The game uses the SNES Mode 7, and it looks pretty good, the backgrounds are very pixalated sometimes but it doesn't bother me as much as it would bother somebody else... they still look good in my opinion and that's always a plus and the same happens with the music, its very interesting and great to listen to.. it's not annoying like some games I play at the least which is always a plus. I usually don't prefer the type of graphics that Super Mario for Super Nintendo has but in this cause it's just awesome.

Addictiveness :  
The addictiveness is quite amazing in my opinion.. even I didn't think that I would come back to this game so much. ..like all other Mario Kart games, Super Mario Kart always keeps you coming back for more. There is several different modes to pick from and even if you win every single part of the game, you will eventually end up coming back to play the game again. It's just that good. I don't usually play games as much as this but I like racing games in general which maybe one of the reasons I come crawling back to this game a lot. There is always another level I can replay even if I beat the entire game.

Story:
There is not really a story just like any other Super Mario Kart game. It's pretty much just racing and trying to be in 1st place against the other characters/ opponent's. Sometimes I wish there was some type of story within Super Mario Kart but in my opinion it's still pretty great the way it is.

Depth:
Besides getting 1st place within the game and setting other personal goals for yourself.. which I found out a lot of people do that.. I never ended up making any personal goals for myself but my brother and sisters would. Playing through the game was enough for me xP ..there isn't much of any depth in the game though. The game gets pretty repeative in the end when it comes to most of the backgrounds and just the game in general. You have 8 racers to choose from but they pretty much work just the same. There is a bit of a difference when it comes to speed and such though with certain characters. Even within the Time Trial that most people find a bit of depth within. I didn't find much at all. I mean you can find different short cuts to get better times but to me the certain part of the games were just the same.

Difficulty:
To me this game wasn't really difficult. I mean once you get up into the higher levels it gets a trim of more difficulty but in all it's just racing other opponents in my opinion. I mean sense I love racing games I don't find any games that are race wise really difficult .. unless I am just learning the different controls of the game. (Which happens rarely) .. so that may be one of the reasons why I don't find this game as difficult as somebody else might describe or experience in difficulty.

Gameplay:
Super Mario Kart is the best Mario Kart game I have played because it is the most entertaining as well as the easiest to play, I am not saying the other ones are bad, but they are not a match for this version of the game. I mean I like the other Mario Kart Games as well but nothing in relation to how fun I think Mario Kart is just in general.

In Super Mario Kart the screen is always horizontally split in two, even when you are playing alone. If you are alone then the second half of the screen will be the map, there you will be able to see where your opponents are. When I first played it, it was quite confusing.. took me a minute to figure out the screen but I guess that was because I was a bit younger when I started playing this game.

There are eight Super Mario characters to choose from, each one has their own skills, some of them are faster but with a slow acceleration while others have a fast acceleration but then they are slower during the race. While all of them are useful. once you get used to them it is possible to win choosing anyone. I used to think that I could win with one character  because I was always beating races with it but as I played it a bit more I realized that I could win with any character I choosed. After I had beat the entire game with only playing with one character.. I replayed the game with all the different characters and was able to win with each and every one of them which I caught as a surprise.

Final thoughts:
My final thoughts are that this game is just pure awesomeness. I would recommend it to anybody , especially if they liked racing games or just Super Mario games in general. I don't find a lot of games that I am willing to keep playing over and over but this one just has something about it that makes me keep coming back to play it. Most people might disagree with me and not like this game as much but if you haven't got a chance to play Super Mario Kart or maybe you have just played some of the other versions, I would advise you to check this one out.

Nice work, Bin. It's not too short, but not too long, either. A few spelling and grammatical errors, but was enjoyable enough to read, and I'll definitely try this game out sometime if I remember to. Thanks for summoning me to this review.

Sux pretty much summed up everything I could say about the review in terms of quality, so I won't repeat.

I do want to say thank you for your positive review of this game. but they aren't that bad. You just have to understand that it doesn't control identically to the newer titles, and once you figure out how to play it you'll be fine with the controls. I hear so many people bash on the controls in the game, overall I feel it's underappreciated (though still loved). When I was a kid I got this game, and for months it might as well have been the only game in existence as far as my siblings and I were concerned. lol This game really is amazing and will always be on par with the newer Mario Kart games in my opinion.

It's not bad for a review. I liked it, though I would like a little bit more description on the items perhaps, but that's all.

1,200 - 2,000 words is about what you're looking for for a long read on the internet. Unless you can truly keep you audience involved through to the end, it's not worth it.

Start small until people tell you they like your style and you've refined it, Then you can start reaching 5,000 words and keep people interested until the end. Still, not everyone's going to like a long review though, and some people just can read online for that long.

There were a few grammar issues I would advise correcting though only a few, and they were mostly just the use of the wrong word. (Like using "awe" instead of "all".) Good job however. Looking forward to more from you.

Not only are the regular races awesome, so are the battle games. I have always enjoyed playing the one where you have 3 balloons circulating around you and you have to try and pop the other people's balloons before they pop yours with items you pick up around the level. It's a fun change once you beat all of the different tracks that are available. Altogether the game is one of my favorite SNES games, and can be played over and over again.
