I am a huge fan of all games in the series, so when I heard of this game, I deleted almost everything from my phone so I could free up enough space to play this. I just love games of this genre, I can spend so much time working on a house and a family and job, and I would never get bored of it. The best part of it is that the game is free. Of course it doesn't have anywhere near as much stuff as the console games, but its roughly 60 dollars cheaper, so that's ok with me.

Graphics - 8/10

The graphics are pretty decent, for most of the time the regular Sims games had very standard graphics, but then once The Sims 3 and 4 came out, the quality of the graphics have really took off. Of course, the mobile version is so much smaller, and the game is free so naturally the graphics would suffer, and they do compared to the full versions, but they are still good. Every character and house object has a good amount of detail and my grade for graphics is going to be an 8 out of 10.

Sound - 6/10

As for the sound, there is some, but of course its all random gibberish. There's a ton of sounds, but like most of the games in the series, basic sounds are just random house noises whether it is a doorbell, a dog, something breaking, or whatever. As for voices, there's always going to be a sim saying something, but you would never be able to understand anything that they are saying. Lastly you have the music which isn't actual music but is again random words and sounds you hear coming from the radio or something. Its not like there's no sound though, there is, and my grade for this section is going to be a 6 out of 10.

Addictiveness - 10/10

As for addictiveness, I would have to say that's the greatest aspect if the game. All you are doing is playing as a person and living out their lives, you really can't get any simpler than that, but that's why these games are so popular, because you are given the option to do whatever you want in your little world. In terms if options and freedom, I'd have to say this game would compare nicely to bigger games such ad Grand Theft Auto. Who doesn't want to mess around with a characters life? This is the kind of game where you could play for hours with one guy and a house and then randomly decide to build a new house from scratch or even with a new character. That's how addicting this game us and its going to get no less than a perfect 10 out of 10.

Story - 8/10

The story itself is basically life, that's about it. You start off the game creating a character, choosing a house, and finding a stray dog. From there, you pick your destiny. You are free to do anything, start a family, get a job, create, destroy, and recreate your house, and much more. The entire story is up to you and my grade for this category will be an 8 out of 10.

Depth - 10/10
For depth, there's a lot less than there is in the full games but there's still a lot to offer. I am going to right away give this a perfect 10 out of 10 because that's what it deserves. Just being able to mold tour house any way you want says a lot, and then of course there's a gigantic assortment of items for you to place all over your house. Lets not forget about your job, and of course actually taking care of your Sims needs. That proves how much depth this game has go offer.

Difficulty - 2

The game itself is not difficult, and is probably meant to be one of the most relaxing and calm games ever, but there might be one or two challenges. First off, the game is about living your life, so as long as you don't go bankrupt and keeping going to your job, you'll have money and would have nothing to worry about, you would just keep building more and more, and living out the lives of your Sims. Because of that, there's no real was to lose unless you become careless or go out of your way to make sure that you lose, the game itself is very easy. The only thing that you might find confusing is how to move around and such since all you are using is one touch screen to do all sorts of different commands. Not only do you have to tap the screen to click, buy and sell, and do stuff, but you also have to slide in just the right direction and right speed and such to move up, down, left, right, to zoom in and out, to rotate left and right. Sometimes you will try to do something and nothing will happen, or you will try to do something and something completely different will happen. There's no real way to avoid this since its on a phone and all you have to do is be careful and patient. My grade for difficulty is going to be a 2, its terribly easy overall.

Overall - 7.8/10

Overall, the Sims is one of my most favorite game series ever, should definitely be top 10, and I have played at least half a dozen different titles, but I would have to say this is the worst that I have played. I don't mean its bad, its really goof, I just mean that the console games are still much better than the mobile version. But again, its free and worth every nothing, and its a lot of fun. If you get this, I'm sure that you can find yourself playing this game for hours on end. My overall grade for The Sims Freeplay is a 7.8 out of 10.
