4 Elements is a fun little game that I have been given to as a gift and fell in love with. It's one of those matching puzzle games and I never thought I would find them to be this much fun, but I did because I have spent so many hours playing this game so far.
Graphics - 8/10 (Very Good)
I'd like to say that the graphics of the game is pretty good, it's maybe just a bit better than other games that are of this genre such as Bejeweled and a few others that I shall never mention. The game itself doesn't really require effects because it's just swapping pieces to clear them off the board and get points, but there's so much more that the graphics do. There are various other pieces to the game such as cards and books, designs, and more, and the graphics make them all pop out. Then you have various explosions and such as you are matching the pieces and my overall grade for graphics is going to be an 8 out of 10.
Sound - 6/10 (Good)
Honestly, there isn't much here. I know that there are a few songs, but to me they just aren't too interesting. It's kind of meant to be a calm game that's relaxing but I just don't like that kind of stuff so it's not really too high up on my list. Aside for the music, there are a few random noises thrown here and there like from matching the pieces and such. Overall I like the game itself for well, the game, not the music, and my overall grade for sound is going to be a 6 out of 10.
Addictiveness - 8/10 (Very Good)
To me, I think this game is quite addicting because it's a pretty smart game and you need to know a lot about how to solve each map. Aside for doing these matching tiles, you also play two other game modes where you are given a picture and have to find hidden stuff and another one where you have to compare whats different between two pictures. I think the game has a lot to offer and is fun also so my grade will be an 8 out of 10.
Story - 7/10 (Good)
The story involves solving various matching puzzles to kind of decipher what is written in different books and once you solve each book, you unlock something about that element. Each book has I think about 16 puzzles as well as a few of the other matching games so it can be a quite long game to finish everything because there's one book for each element meaning that there could be more than 50 good puzzles. That's all that there really is to the story, but it's pretty good and the story is going to get a 7 out of 10.
Depth - 8/10 (Good)
The games does have a good amount of depth just based on the number of puzzles that there are, which could all be repeated over and over again. There should be more than 50 puzzles in total over multiple game modes. That's really all there is to the depth of the game but there is a lot and could end up taking a really long to complete fully. My grade for Depth is going to be an 8 out of 10.
Difficulty - 5 (Neutral)
The game can be very easy, especially if you are good at spotting and destroying larger chains of tiles which would score you more points and open up more of the track. The level ends once you open up the track from one side all the way to the other, so it's generally easy. Some levels might be tough because some might take a while to figure out where to go and sometimes there just might not be enough matching tiles to do enough damage. If you run into any problems, all you need to do is try over and use different strategies. Overall difficulty for this game is 5.
Overall - 8.5/10 (Very Good)
Overall, this is a fun game that I have spent hours playing. In terms of puzzle games, I would have to say that this game ranks pretty high up and is one of the best. I don't remember how much the game costs or even if it did cost anything, but if you have a chance to play this game and you are a fan of this genre, then I would suggest that you do give it a try because it can be a lot of fun to some gamers. Overall it's a great game to get addicted to and my overall grade for this game is going to be an 8.5 out of 10.
