-MMX's review of super scribblenauts-

Hey all you vizzards (or whatever you're called) Over the last few days I've been playing a great game called Super Scribblenauts and I believe It's a spectacular game. Realeased by 5th Cell as a follow up to an earlier game "Scribblenauts" SUPER Scribblenauts innovated by quite a margin with amazing puzzles, superb replayability, and ACTUAL depth and addictiveness (After goldeneye and turok I thought the day would never come) However I have stalled you from the superb game that is Super Scibblenauts LONG ENOUGH. Lez do dis!

Story (4): Wow. What a rough beginning. Super Scribblenauts doesn't have much of a story. Just go around and find starite's which open other constallations (Levels). You CAN make up your own story. But I find that at least in my opinion rather boring. For not much of a story....Super Scribblenauts starts out with a low, low 4.

Graphics (7): Getting back on a high track Super Scribblenauts has good graphics that at least dont make me want to throw up. Granted it has no where near the level of good graphics as say Uncharted or Arkham Asylum but it does make sure that you can at least make out what is going on. (Unlike other games) But one thing it DOES have is it's own style. With a cartoony and innocent look only Super Scribblenauts can achieve. Normally I would give it a 5 for passable graphics, but for being unique in it's graphics and then some, Super Scribblenauts gets a 7 in the graphics instead.

Sound (8): Super Scribblenauts regains it's footing for a wide array of actually real sound. Take a shotgun for instance. When you fire the shotgun it ACTUALLY sounds like a shotgun instead of a *boom* and you can even hear it reload. The music is nothing to talk about however. Which is where the sound lacks the most. But a lot of objects sound either funny or real in the game. Which in my opinion helps with immersion. For a wide and realistic/funny array of sounds, Super Scribblenauts starts to pick up with an 8.

Depth (10): Super Scribblenauts only picks up from here. The amount of stuff you can do in this game is ridiculous. First there's the individual levels and advanced modes. But then there's the play ground at the beginning of the game that allows you to do whatever you want in it. You can even make your own custom levels even if it's limited. There's avatars. Merits, and much, much more. And if you wanna go that extra step....You can try to make every object in Super Scribblenauts. (Ps, if you do. GOOD LUCK) For a ridiculously deep gameplay aspect, Super Scribblenauts gets a 10 in depth.

Addictiveness (10): This game is like cigarettes (Idk, I've heard those are addictive.) Since depth and addictiveness go hand in hand, you can imagine im going to like the addictiveness. Pick it up once you you'll be playing it for quite some time. The main points of addictiveness are the same as the depth. With the achievements, the objects, levels, advanced modes, etc. For excellent addictiveness, Super Scribblenauts gets a 10 in the Addictiveness department.

Difficulty (9): OH BOY. This game was HARD. First off, the levels. They arn't too hard but one level can sometimes stump you. Forcing you to either use hints or look up a walkthrough. Then you have the advanced mode. In order to get 2 achievements (Merits) you need to complete one advanced mode level and then ALL OF THEM. You dont have to play every single level as some of them don't have advanced mode, but there's still a lot in comparison. And how do you beat an advanced mode level? Simple: Complete it THREE times without using the same stuff or quitting. You can fail the mission and not fail the challenge. But not being able to use certain items or adjective it brutal. THEN you have the special constallations. Which dont really require items as much but are much harder. Usually having to guide the starite to Maxwell or spamming "Invincible Immovable Bridge" everywhere. And guess what? The special constallations have their OWN advanced modes. However. Not once did I think the game became CHEAP like unfairly killing me off or something like that. It just requires a little elbow grease and your noggin. For quite a difficult game Super Scribblenauts gets a 9.

Overall (9.5): Super Scribblenauts makes up for it's average story, graphics and sound with superb depth, addictiveness, and difficulty. Which is hard for a game to pull off nowadays. Super Scribblenauts it quite unlike any other. It has it's own style and makes it WORK. I can see why 5th Cell is going places with this series. Super Scribblenauts gains a 9.5 and my award for the most addictiveness game I've ever played. Yes, even more then Armored Core 3. This is MMX: Signing out.
