Vision Gran Turismo started as a project of designing a new car strictly for the game as the manufacturers' representation of what this videogame meant for them. In late January, 2014, we had the first Vision Gran Turismo unveiled, developed by German manufacturer Mercedes-Benz. Almost one year after it started, we have received 10 more Vision Gran Turismo concepts. In the meantime, some of them were even built for real and exposed to the public at both sides of the Atlantic Ocean. But what is the player's impression about them?

In my opinion, is a good chance to let imagination and creativity flow like never before. Much like the concept cars we've always seen at Motor Shows, but now giving players the chance to drive them and experience a glimpse of the future.

Out of all, I think that the BMW Vision is worth of mention. I mean, it's like your average M3 GTR racer, what's the point of it? When being raced, is truly a beast, but just like all other BMW racers available for purchase (obviously not counting the V12 LMR).

On the other hand, I really dislike the Aston Martin, the Toyota and the Infiniti. The first because the engine loses power at relatively low RPM, the second because it's awful when turning at high speeds (when, being a racer, should be the exact opposite), and the third because it weighs just too much to be properly handled (and well, because I hate Infiniti as a whole).

For my favorite, no doubt about the latest inclusion, the Mazda. The main point because it's really close to become a reality and compete against Le Mans top racers instead of being a Garage 56 entry. Of course, the Chaparral outruns it, but it is on a different level, being a complete revolution in terms of engine propulsion system and driving position.

I'm leaving this open to more opinions, and also to any updates we receive. Theoretically, we still have 18 more Vision Gran Turismo to come. Anyone in particular you're expecting? For me, it's Lamborghini, because I love the way they look, and also Mini, who knows what can they bring up.
