I need a reason to play! other than the option of fondling other vizzed board members

It's mainly for fun...but I will sneak in little pascodes through out the game, that you can PM me for special items and Viz (for on the board)

Ha, I will have the biggest house, except for Daivd's house. I am going to have to decide on the Midi, and the books and special items and stuff. I will PM you or tell you on AIM.

I would like to be in this even tho i am not rlly er... active. For me basicly jus make sure i have ALOT of music playing stuff. I have alot in real life(1 iPOD, 3 CD players(allworking) 1 stereo, 1 surroudn sound system 5 disc changer(only 350 watts but meh), a computer wit speakers as big as your hands n i think i have more?. I dont care wut ym sprite looks like rlly as long as he has red eyes n whiteish silver hair(sound a bit picky? sry).

This game will be VERY similar to Shenmue 1 and 2...not in the sense of having to ask people for information, but that the environment will be really interactive, and alot of different events will be going on in this town. ALSO, there will be day and night, different things will go on at night and at day.

There will be alot of exploring you can do, EVERY member that has atleast 1 post (thats roughly 12) will be in this game in some sort of way...All the members with no posts will all be crammed into 4 BIG apartments, and you wont be able to really interact with them (except knock on there door and get some sort of response).


ALSO, I'm using SO many different graphics, and MANY of them I'm either making myself or editing on some way...I plan to make this the GREATEST RPG Maker 95 game EVER!


Also...if i haven't said it in this thread, there will be a Vizzed Ville 2006, which will be basically an update to this game (and will be released exactly a year after this one). 2006 would obviously be based off all the additional members, and such.


Also, Remlee, let me know what "midi" you want playing in your house.

Pffft.... i dont like midi's. But if i must have 1, jus find the midi from the ending Inyuasha

Average MP3=3000 KB
Average Midi= 30 KB

It saves ALOT of space to have midi's. There will be maybe 1 or 2 MP3's in the game, but the rest will be midi's (there will probably be 50+ midi's).

Like I said, there wont be an actual background song though, there will only be songs playing depending on where your at.

I Might make it so you can buy headphones, and choose the song you want to be the "background" song of the game.

Further stuff I'd like to add...

It will sorta be mandatory to go rest every once and a while. In this game, like real life, you will lose energy (energy will be instead of mp, JUST like on this board), you will lose VERY little energy, but after a while it'll add up. Once your out of energy, you wont be able to preform "strong" attacks during battle. ALSO, as you go along in the game, you'll lose health VERY slowly (just by standing around, you can SLOWLY lose health and energy aswell).
So, if your awake for 3 days straight in the game, you'll probably pass out. There is no game over in this game (atleast, i dont think there will be), rather, when you passout from no more health, you'll probably wake up at your house or in a hospital (fully recovered of course). The more experienced you become (in other words, the higher your level), the longer it'd take for you to pass out or fully run out of energy from being awake to long. Sleeping, of course, fully rises health and energy, but when you go to sleep, and it's day at the time, it will be night time when you wake up, and vice versa.
There will be items in the game, such as a MedKit that will rise your health, and things like "Vizzed Soda" that'll rise your energy.

Added note about the day and night in the game, the game will automatically go from night to day, and day to night after a long period of playing the game (i'm thinking every 15 minutes it will switch over).

ALSO, not certain if I'll stick with this idea yet, but I might not make the "time" progress when your inside buildings, I might just make it so that time progresses ONLY when your outside. Not sure yet...
And yeah, if you haven't noticed, the items, and stats will also be based off the board (almost everything will be based off the board).


Anywho, I'd REALLY like to hear some more feedback about my game
I have a whole month of basically unemployment (only have a partime job ), so I'll probably spend about 20 hours a week on this game...NO idea when I'll complete this, but hopefully before summer, and for sure I'll have the demo released within a month.

(additional note: this game wont be a really long game, but just a game with TONS of detail).

And yet again, another update to the game....


A little about the story:

You are a person searching for a town to live in. You start out with a set amount of Viz.
When you arive to Vizzed Ville, you are known as Newbie (but that wont be your actual name...unless I decide later that it should be).
You use your money to find a house to purchase (there will be many for sale). You'll find a job in the town (hopefully it'll be an enjoyable one, and you can pick a job too). Save up to buy a better house!
Get known around the town, make it a goal to become a trusted member!
There may be a few attacks on the town, and when your more powerfull you'll help out in the fights (along with me, randy, michaelvash and some other members).
The ULTIMATE goal of the game, I'm not sure of yet...but maybe it'll be to become staff member? I have no idea yet...idea's would be appreciated though

The game will basically be full of tons of side quests, and little things you can do....it'll have HUGE replay value, I'm hoping.

To clear things up...(the following was a PM i sent DragonMaster)

All you have to do is have atleast 1 post to be in the game!
Well, the more posts you have on the board, the more of a role you'll play in the game. So like, a member with only 1 post would probably only say a few things with the main character, but a member who has lets say 50 - 100 posts, would interact more with the main character. Also, the more Viz you own on the board, the more wealthy you'll be in the game
ALSO, if your a trusted member or staff, you'll play an even bigger role.

Count me in as f1 i would like a gamecube and ps2 in my house an computer hocked up on vizzed board and some manga bocks in the bockcase.

Edit: Cant you make it so the equipment you have here you have in the game because if i buy the best equipment but wont have any Viz left i would still be poor in the game. So make it so you can atleast be powerful.

can you make my place in black? and i want a pc, tape, and a guitar if u can i'll play the metal music with that tape and the guitar

Dont let this fall down on the thread list. Cant this be stickied. And i saw that the character i wanted was taken so take g2 instead.

Remember, if you guys wanna make your own sprites, or have a Sprite for RPG Maker 95 (that resembles these characters), you can use that instead of a character on the chart.
