Every forum has this topic at some point: "What is your monitor resolution?" The common answer lately appears to be 1920x1080, but so what? Having that resolution on a smart phone is completely different from having it on a 60 inch monitor as does sitting 20 inches away or 20 feet away.

So, to re-ask an overly asked question in a new way,

1) What is your monitor RESOLUTION?
2) What is your monitor SIZE? (corner to far-opposite corner)
3) How FAR AWAY are you from your monitor? (eye level to center of the screen)

Oh, and also:
4) Do you use a multiple-monitor setup?

I only use one monitor. It is a 22" monitor that I run at 1366x768 (equal resolution to 1024x768 on a square monitor) and sit a little over a foot and a half away. This makes text a decent size, minimizes the amount of "blank space" on each size of websites since most are still often optimized for 1024x768 to accommodate SD monitors, and at this distance from said size, I am not constantly turning my head side to side just to see everything. I only turn my eyes slightly.

4. I have 2 monitors running at once on my main computer.
1. My primary monitor is 1440x900 (16:10) and my secondary one is 1280x1024 (5:4).
2. I think my primary monitor is somewhere between 14" to 18" diag.
3. I usually keep them roughly a foot and a half away from my face. It's no longer the days of CRT monitors, so I don't have to worry about lethal doses of radiation while playing Minecraft.

Strange how I remember that stuff.
