Majority vote has happened with 11 votes! deg2000 has been chosen to go to the chopping block, and so they did. BAM! And deg drops on the floor dead. Fearing that they messed up again, they go to the recently departed's room for a note that proves he really was the murderer. And they find a note that says:

Anyways, as for how to proceed now... I was thinking about a pokemon question as well last time, but I couldn't quite come up with any that I deemed as very helpful, they all seemed too vague, and that included a question about the favorite generation.

The best question related to pokemon that I could think of would be "How many of the main pokemon games have you played?"

That would limit it to the traditional RPG Pokemon games and depending on the answer we could measure his interest on the Pokemon Universe, as well as possibly clearing out some suspects.

Before I risk death, yes, sonicmcmuffin and I DID discuss what he spoke of, and I do believe that's the question we should go with.

Just because the murderer's favorite games are RPGs DOESN'T mean he hasn't played games like Pokemon Puzzle League.

tl;dr - Main is subjective, as you can call Puzzle League a main game, even though I call it a side game, and asking the murderer how many RPGs they've played in the series is a good way to get inflated numbers due to hacks. Not to mention, it doesn't even give us a real clue, since you can be 7 and play 30 different games, but be 30 and only have played 4.

I really think sonicmcmuffin's question is the way to go on this one.

You guys realize we aren't voting for questions right? I know that we can think of questions before people die, but voting won't do much use right now, I don't think.

Anyways, I have a different plan of attack. Maybe instead of asking general questions that could be for everybody, how about we ask questions specific about the suspect? For example, if we think earthwarrior is the main suspect (Which I do, look at my earlier posts), we could ask a question such as "Do you like the game Earthbound?" or if the suspect was zanderlex we could ask "Do you use twitch a lot?"


So, I think we should ask a question that is more specific to certain people. I don't think the pokemon gen question would work out, because what do we know about other people's favorite gens? I, for one, have no idea about anybody else's favorite pokemon gens.

legacyme3 : I see your point and to be honest I'm not very happy with the question itself. Nor am I happy with asking about the favorite gen, it seems too vague. I mean, a lot of kids that didn't grow up with the first seasons of the show say that their favorite gens are the first ones, not to mention the vast majority of members on Vizzed like Pokemon to some extent, therefore knowing a favorite gen isn't really gonna help much on finding out who the murderer is imo.

Plus unless the Murderer says "I don't like Pokemon", is this question really gonna help increase / decrease suspicions on anyone significantly?

I understand that we haven't come up with anything better and that there isn't a lot of room for incredibly useful questions at this point if we wanna continue being fair, but shouldn't we give more thought and try to come up with something else that might be more helpful? Maybe someone else can brainstorm and come up with something good. I'd say it's unlikely but considering the situation, it's worth a try.

Discussing now is important, because one of us is about to die, and we can't talk after we die. Every second is crucial. EVERY second.

Your idea would be too specific in most cases, there is no concrete rule, and it's up to the host's discretion, but we're supposed to stray from something targeted to a certain member, generally. We're supposed to ask general, vague questions, and figure it out from virtually nothing.

sonicmcmuffin and I both talked about this for a while, and while I get the idea you are trying to convey, it seems as if this question is the best we can pose right now unless someone blows us away with a good idea.

I thought carefully about it, and unless the murderer answers a specific way, I think we'll get much closer to catching them.

It's a gamble, but by splitting the idea between both me and muffin (and a third person, who I'm leaving anon, for their safety), I figure the plan will have as high a chance of success as anything we've done so far.

The only risk is if one of us three is the murderer. Because then obviously, it's just the sheep following the wolf.

I think Favorite Pokemon type would work better. 

And yeah... nothing fits now. Nobody fits all of the answer. I agree with leggy... at once one answer has been lied about. 

I'm not really sure how pokemon will help us win this. If someone picks gen 1 for example who would that eliminate or prove?

Here's a simple idea of a question: "What's your favorite RPG?"

It's not absurdly specific, it'll just take advantage of a previously asked question. Not to mention what I consider a decent chance of finding out who the murderer is, depending on the answer.

But still, if you think this is being too specific, why not ask "What's your favorite music genre?" or "What's your favorite movie?", that'll be of almost the same usefulness as asking the favorite Pokemon generation.

Also, because the answers aren't too outrageous to fit with muffin. He's definitely not the most active but he's still around. In addition, he's a brit, so football can easily mean soccer, and that should still be taken into account.
