My favorite Dragon type Pokemon is Dragonite. The first Pokemon games I ever played is Gold and Silver. Just like about everyone else that played it, the first time I got to the Elite Four I couldn't even make it to Lance. In fact, I wasn't even close. Then, one of my friends told me I needed a good Ice type. So I went to the Ice Path and caught a Seel, and raised it to a Dewgong to about level 45. Then after I beat Claire, I went to the Dragon's Den and caught a Dratini. And it took me forever to raise it to a Dragonite ( I believe it evolves from Dragonair at level 55 ).

Long story short, after trying to beat the Elite Four so many times, I only needed 2 Pokemon to beat all of them. The first time I beat the Elite Four I only had my level 45-50 Dewgong and my level 55+ Dragonite, and those were all I needed to do it.

I didn't really mean to get into all that, but bottom line is Dragonite is my favorite Dragon type hands down for any Pokemon game.

A close second is Dragonair, both have really unique designs.
Unfortunately Dragonite ruined the Dratini line as far as appearances

My favorite Dragon pokemon is dragonite. Remember fighting Lance, the guy had like...2 dragonite and 2 dragonair and an aerodactyl, or something like that. I later learned Barrier was an illegal move because Dragonite couldn't learn that and I had the hardest time taking them down because my strongest attacks would only do like a sliver of damage.
Dragonite is awesome to have because it learned so many of the TMs, at least from the original games. I remember an episode of TV when it was singing as the group met at bill's lighthouse. Then Team Rocket attacked it Not cool.

dragonite and charizard for sure. they are beasts and both can prove it be tough to beat. sorry i dont know the "charizard x" and such, i dont play anything past emerald version.

My fovourite dragon pokemon is dragonite its was the first it  is awesome.

This is a tough question because dragon types as a whole happen to be my favorite pokemon. If I had to choose, I would probably say Hydreigon and Garchomp are my two favorites. 

I like Hydreigon just because of how sick its design is, it has 3 heads, it was designed to look like a tank (or so I've heard) and it just looks downright amazing. Not to mention its stats are really good as well. 

Garchomp has always been one of my favorites mainly because I've always liked the dragon-shark design. It's so unique and interesting. 

Like I said before, I like all dragon types to an extent, but these two happen to be the ones I like the most.
