hello, all. welcome to my review of plants vs zombies. i am going to pick this review apart and i will do it justice. i hope you enjoy, here we go.
Graphics: 8/10 This game has GREAT graphics. I like how colorful they  are, and all the animations and cute plants and zombies. Even though this game is in 2d, it looks VERY good. Like i said, the graphics are very fun and colorful, and even though it is in 2 dimension. Already this review is starting out good! 
Sound: 10/10 I LOVE the sound for this game. i love all the moans and groans from the zombies, the wonderful music, and the just overall sounds. It sounds just right, does not give you headaches like some games do, (that happens to me a lot!) and there are just so many sounds to listen to, lol! The music can be very calm at some points, at others like in the mini-games, it can get you pumped and your heart pulse raising! And all the zombie sounds are so cute! The sounds are so funny and high pitches sometimes, other times there is a low groan from the zombies. and the sounds of the plants and peashooters and stuff shooting, it is really funny! 
Addictiveness: 10/10 THIS GAME JUST KEEPS MAKING YOU COME BACK FOR MORE! What with all the fun mini games, and the intuitive game play and design. And the suburban almanac makes it so fun! you encounter a new zombie, then you can read all about him! And there is zen garden, after you beat the game, where you plant plants and keep them happy, and get money to spend in Crazy Dave's shop! And there are so many plants, that in like every 5 levels, it gets more interesting!
Story: N/A There really is not any story in this video game. basically, you are this guy, (or gal!) who is names what you choose, holding up for the zombies with very hostile and powerful plants (lol!) just trying not to let the zombies EAT THEIR BRAINS!!!!!!!! And you meet this guy, named Crazy Dave, who is, quite obviously, CRAAAAZY! And he opens up a shop in his van, where he sells upgrades, and after you beat the game, zen garden plants. There really is no story, but does that matter? This game does not really NEED a story!
Depth: 10/10 This game took me a loong time to beat. Like, a week. This game has a lot of depth packed into it, and it knows it! There are like 50 Levels, and they are all replayable. And there is a zen garden after you beat the game, where you grow plants, and if they are happy, they make money! And there are a lot of plants to use, which makes the game so fun! And there are a lot of mini games to play, which you unlock as you progress through the game. This game can keep you occupied for solid WEEKS. Definitely a game you should get if you like long games.
Difficulty: 7/10 This game, is it not very difficult. At the EARLIER levels. it gets VERY hard later on. You sometimes have like 20 zombies on screen at once, and there are all different kinds, which makes it hard. but if you play your cards right, you will make it through. no need to worry, even though there is a zombie, attached to a balloon, who can only be brought down by like one plant. And WAAAY later on in the story, there is a zombie who uses a bungee cord and steals your plants right away! but that adds so much variety to this game, it is awesome.
Overall: 9/10 This game is a great gem of a game for any person. it is not an inappropriate game either, so you can buy this game for your son, or cousin, or whatever on steam! I highly recommend this game to anyone who has a steam account and ten dollars. i hope i have persuaded you to buy this wonderful game, that no one should go without. I hope my review was good, and you liked it. goodbye. 

noahs_brother : Your scores are yours and I'm not judging you. I merely ask for my own curiosity.  That Depth score of 10? I played a demo of it, and it went through about 12 levels. I can see the list of plant types and I'm sure the zombies get a couple new tricks, but is there some hidden mode I don't know about? If I would give an RPG a 10, does it take you a week to beat those (if you play them?). A week just didn't seem that long to me.

endings : it took me a week just to beat the CAMPAIGN. There is still Zen garden and all those minigames. And the demo version is a less updated version, similar to minecraft and it's very non-updated demo.
