Hello my name is Bruce3rd and today i am going to review Castlevania Aria Of Sorrow possibly one of my favorite Castlevania titles! Now for those of you who don't know Castlevania Aria Of Sorrow is what is known as a "metroidvania" a sub genre witch is about exploration and collecting items to help in your adventure.  so here's the story Soma Cruz a high school student is going to watch the first solar eclipse with his friend Mina Habuka but Soma blacks out during the eclipse he is brought to castlevania castle of dracula a man named Genya Arikado greets him and Mina so the castle suddenly while Soma asks what the heck is going on  several monsters and skeletons appear Genya kills almsot all of them with ease but one of the monsters survives the attack and attempts to attack Mina and Soma, Soma kills the beast and absorbs its soul Genya  says "it" has awaken Soma asks what it is and Genya says to go to the master chamber and he will understand everything. Gameplay  its like your average hack and slash action rpg but with its own twists and new ideas if you've palyed castlevania symphony of the night you'll have an idea of what your getting into  but for those who have not played that game   here is what it is like you must explore dracula's castle and find new equipment and items to increase your survival now a cool idea of this game is that you can absorb the souls of enemies there are 3 soul types red souls are bullet souls witch are extra attacks blue souls are gaurdian souls witch can be used to get through an area fast extra protection and getting to new areas  yellow souls a re enhancement souls witch are like extra equipment they give you boost to certain atributes and sometimes give you new abilities you never had before use souls to the best of your advantage and find the soul set that best suits you! Sound it sounds like your average gba game and it has japenese voice acting so its pretty good. Difficulty its not rally hard but there are some "are you kidding me!" moments.Depth at a glance  this game is not all that big if you just go through it normally but if you are going for all the souls you can be rewarded  with new things if you explore for those hidden nooks and cranies. my overall rating is a 9.9 why? because i had a lot of good times with this game its very fun rewards those who explore and has some bonuses you can get that was my review of castlevania aria of sorrow goodbye and have a good night all.
