Well, I don't know if you missed it or not, but the Nintendo Direct for Super Smash Bros. for Wii U ended a few hours ago. They covered ~55 facts about the Wii U version. Some of them we knew already, whether it was because of unused data in the 3DS version, previous announcements, or just prior knowledge (e.g. being able to switch items on and off + frequency, My Music, Special Orders, etc.), but others we didn't know.

So, discuss the Nintendo Direct. My views:

Event Mode is back. I love you, Sakurai.
8-Player Smash? That's so hawt. Won't be much use to me unless I have some sort of party, but that's still pretty awesome.
Those big stages. Truly incredible. I could marry Palutena's Temple and Skyloft. Screw 20XX Tournament Rules, I'm gonna have fun in the Wii U version.
Stage Builder is ****ing awesome now. Brawl's wasn't very user friendly, didn't have much customization, and it was just plain ugly. This has so much customization though. You can actually choose the shape and color of your stage!
That board game looks weird. I don't think I totally understand it, but it looks like it could be fun. Maybe.
I like what they've done with Classic Mode. Being able to choose your path was cool, but they just made it a whole level cooler.
Special Orders is pretty awesome looking. I think I'll enjoy Crazy Orders especially.

Mewtwo sucked in Melee, and I only liked him in Project M for just a little while. But... he's Mewtwo. I wanted him back so badly. Mewtwo, the badass, evil, psychic, iconic Pokemon. I bet 99% of people that can name Pikachu can name Mewtwo. This is just mindblowing. They're bringing him back if you connect the 3DS version and the Wii U version. April 2015 is a long time to wait, but I can handle it. Hopefully.

And I know, we already knew about Bowser Jr., but that reveal trailer is the best yet. Megaman's was cool, so were the Pokemon's, but Bowser Jr.'s reveal trailer had me almost explode. That's how awesome it was.

I so want to pre-order right now. I didn't do it at all before but now I want to buy this in a heartbeat. Faded, I thank you a million for spreading this. I don't care if this stuff is getting revealed. I've been following Smash 4 since the E3 2012 info and that Meganan reveal. A few people on YouTube spas zed out over Mega Man.

Stevie 764 : 8-player isn't available online, which sucks. But I don't really see how they could do that. Very heavy mode on a very heavy game doing heavy stuff to go online. And Sakurai added Little Mac because of the fans.

Stevie 764 : as Faded said 8 player isnt online. The boardgame is not like monopoly at all. You kinda like collect stocks in the form of fighters, And there is a FFA at the end, And everyone starts with one fighter with one stock and through out the game you collect fighters and use them in the FFA battle

I was drooling the entire N.Direct it was so great and the announcer is amazing at it job, you could notice he was having a blast doing the direct xD

We need a Super Smash Bros. Netplay tournament. It would be the most intense thing in the history of Vizzed. We'd gather a bunch of serious players with mega-fast internet. The winner gets a copy of the Super Smash Bros. for Wii U GameCube adapter bundle!
YOU CAN'T TELL ME THAT WOULDN'T BE THE BEST THING EVER.

Plus not many people would enter because people on Vizzed generally, for some reason I don't know, have slow internet speeds. Looking at an internet speed thread, almost everyone has poor internet speed.

Welp this Nintendo direct was freaking awesome. Too bad I don't have a wii u.
