Pokémon Chaos Black

Chapter 1: I Choose You!

Hello guys and thanks for clicking this thread! I’m currently
writing this guide and it’s not yet complete. I will keep posting chapters in it.
Also, it’s my first Strategy Guide. If you love Pokémon Chaos Black, then this
guide will be helpful to you (maybe). J

So, let’s get down to business, right? If you have just
started this game, then you might have seen some differences. This game has
many new Pokémon. But if you’re a person like me, who wants to check every part
of the game, then you might have seen some flaws. In the Pokémon Menu, the
small sprite of the Pokémon is one of the three original starters, for example,
if you chose Bliqu, then the small sprite is of Squirtle and not Bliqu. This is
the only flaw I saw until now. Otherwise, the game is good.

The starting of the game is pretty much like Fire Red and Leaf
Green. Professor Oak gives the same introduction and you land in your room.
First, go towards your PC and withdraw a Potion as it’d help very much later
on.

Then, go downstairs and talk to your Mom.  She’d be sad seeing you leave for a Great Pokémon
Journey. After talking to her, go and talk to everyone in the Pallet Town (for
newbies). Go to your rival’s house and talk to her sister. She’d be helpful
later on.

Now, you’d probably go to Oak’s Lab. But what?! Oak’s isn’t
there, but your rival is. Now, the only option left is to search for Oak.

So, you’d try to go through the Pallet Town exit to Route 1. But
Ka ching! Prof. Oak stops you from going out there! He’ll take you to his Lab
and offer you three (new) starters, Magid, a grass/electric Pokémon, Bliqu, water
Pokémon, and Flaon, a fire Pokémon.

The choice of a good starter, I leave it to you. Everyone’s choice
varies. Some people love more cool-looking Pokémon (like Flaon), some want more
powerful Pokémon (like Bliqu), while some want average Pokémon (like Magid). But
according to me, I prefer you to take Bliqu, as it’ll help you a lot to defeat
the first gym leader and building up your confidence.

After choosing your first starter, your rival will also choose
a Pokémon, and it’ll always be elementally stronger to yours. But don’t worry,
in the beginning, neither you, nor your rival will have an elemental move, so it’ll
be a fair fight.

I said “fair fight” as when you’ll try to leave the Lab, your rival
will challenge you to a battle. Both Pokémon will be Level 5. Battle him and
most probably, you should win. If you’re about to lose and have very low HP left,
use the Potion you took from your PC. As I said, it’ll give you a second chance
to win. If you win, your Pokémon will Level Up to 6!

After the fight, exit the Lab, and walk out through the exit
to Route 1. In this game, all the Routes are like mazes. So try to solve the
maze by walking on correct places till you reach a rock level. Go up and talk
the man wearing an apron, he’s the Pokemart Clerk, he’ll give you a Potion. So
if you lost a Potion while battling your rival, this’ll replenish your resource!

Go down and walk through the maze till you reach the road to Viridian
City. Walk up and you’ll be in Viridian City!

Here’s the list of Pokémon you’ll find in Route 1:

1.
Shizard Lv. 2 – 4 (common)

2.
Tape Lv. 2 – 4 (common)

If you notice the game more carefully, you’d find that when
you arrive at each city, the header which comes at the top-left corner is
empty. This too is a flaw. That’s all for this chapter. In the next chapter, we’ll
explore Viridian City and complete Oak’s errand.

Please Rate and Review my guide. Hope this helped you! J
