A game from the 80's when Atari ruled the game console world.
The objective is simple enough, you need to get to school on time, and have your trusty skateboard to help you along the way, however tempting ramps and tunnels are along the way.
Graphics: For a Atari game the graphics are quite good, none of this chunky pixelated stuff that early games often had, and each object is easily defined.
Sound: The only real sound this game has is when you hit an obstacle, in which you will hear a momentary impact sound, however the background music which plays while you are riding your skateboard is quite addictive, especially when considering that most Atari games didn't even have background music.
Addictiveness: The game is was quite popular in its day, and addiction may be rekindled in those who used to play it; it will seem rather frugal to those who grew up with more recent consoles such as play station and may not be of particular interest.
Story: The game lacks in any real story, it can be summed up simply as "you need to get to school on time." perhaps a slight extension on this could be that you dream of one day competing in the skateboarding championship competitions and use the trip to school to practice.
Depth: The game is not particularly detailed, you are successful as long as you get to school on time, you can also use any ramps or tunnels you encounter along the way, but this is not imperative to finishing the game, and you will not be penalised for any obstacles left unconquered. Perhaps one additional feature is the ability to grab the back of a moving vehicle to increase your momentum, much as Michael J. Fox does in Back to the Future
Difficulty: The controls are simple enough, apart from the race against time, the only other problems you will encounter are barriers such as brick walls and road blocks, and lawn which will impede your movement if you are riding your skateboard, but as these can be easily seen, they can usually be avoided. The real challenge is to find your way around, particularly if you wish to conquer all obstacles before arriving at school, but as the map design is set, an experienced player can probably form a mental map, with a set path to follow in order to conquer all obstacles, and still get to school on time.
