I just wanted to get to know you and discuss things together about the series, I mean....I haven't yet met anyone here who like it (let alone know even hear about it) and I truly want to know if there is really someone who loves this franchise besides me...

I'm not really sure what it is you're talking about, but I like the idea of using spells and such. What IS wizardry?

How should I explain this.....well, it's a an RPG game made by Robert and Andrew in 1981 (yea....it's older than final fantasy and dragon warrior), and according to wikipedia, it was so famous in north america (that is until it suddenly got forgotten)  that it got insanely popular in japan (and when I see insanely, I meant it inspired other fanchises, manga and had an anime, online game with ITS NAME on it).

It's popularity may be due to the fact that it focus on dungeon exploring rather than the world in some games, and that stats and spells in that game matters more than Levels (unless of course you raise them crazily). Also, instead of killing enemies to get golds to buy better equipment, the shops doesn't update their stocks....meaning that you HAVE to go deeper in the dungeon and kill the enemies that are stronger than you to get better equipment (don't worry, the drop rate is high).

But it may not be appealing to the modern generation because it uses old RPG mechanics (meaning there is no Defense, instead there is AC which raises dodge rate, and the spell system is like final fantasy 1.....where the number in the spell Lv shows you how many remaining spells can you cast in that Lv), and even if anyone did play with these rules, they might complain about how strong the enemies are and the cheap tricks they have (if you think 7th saga was hard....trust me.....this game goes beyond that).

But I do hope you would enjoy it as much as I do right now.
