No problem. All you have to do to no longer be ranked Newbie is be here a week (which you have been) and make at least ten posts. After that, you'll become a member. The change will happen the day after you hit ten posts by the way.

As for your "Affected By" that's something you have to work on everyday. The "Affected By" status changes as you post, and resets every 24 hours. Basically it's a way of measuring how much posting you're doing. Here's a link to a page explaining each Syndrome, and how many posts you have to make to get them For a quick reference, you need five or more posts to get past Carpal Tunnel Syndrome.
