Hi, I'm new to this website, and I'd like to play a Genesis game while listening to something else on my computer. There was another thread about this but it was closed and it wouldn't let me onto the other thread it lead to, so please help!

Are you using Windows? I can help you with that, so you need to go to the bar, when you move your mouse to the bottom of the screen. After that go to the sound controls, or just go to the settings to find this. It should come up with all audio settings, and you just pull the bar down for the desired game/program you wish to mute. (The icon should be in the lower corner, the audio settings.) That is only for pre-windows 8. If you have windows 8 just PM and I will help you there.

hyper5onicdude : The only way to mute the game sounds is by using Windows Volume mixer. If you are having some issue with your install of windows you will have to address those issues in order to turn the game sounds off.
