The Pokemon hack, Onyx Blue, is a hack of Pokemon Sapphire. This hack has a multitude of add-ins such as: different starters, pokemon from different generations, new areas, opponents with different pokemon, and much much more. Today we'll be focusing on one particular add-in: Legendary Pokemon. There are so many new areas that were made just so you could go catch a specific legendary. Each legendary pokemon has it's own path and area. Once you get there, for most of these, you can actually catch more than one of the legendary pokemon.

A Little Disclaimer:
I have never made a guide for this particular website before. If my guide breaks any rules or fails to meet a quality standard, please let me know and I'll change it.

A Couple Important Details:
Make sure you read each guide carefully. It's easy to miss a step and go the wrong way. There are many wrong turns and dead ends in some of the paths. It's also easy to miss a requirement and end up half way there and not being able to finish. However, for most of these the requirements are simply Surf, Waterfall, Ultraballs, and patience. Also, for most of these, you don't need to have defeated the Elite Four. In fact, I recommend getting some of these prior to tackling the Elite Four, they're all very capable pokemon.

I did not feature Kyogre in this guide on purpose as it's really more suited for being in a game walkthrough because it's needed to complete the game.

This guide is incomplete. I am positive there are other legendary pokemon in the game, I just haven't found them yet.

This guide offers DIRECT paths to the legendary pokemon it is leading to. Each area will have other paths and hidden items, along with pokemon that can only be found in the nearby area. After you have caught the pokemon you are after, you can go back and explore the rest of the area.

REQUIREMENTS:
Surf
Waterfall
Ultraballs (I recommend having 50 on you. It's very luck dependent)
PATIENCE

You do not need a masterball to catch any of these.
You do not need to defeat the Elite Four to catch any of these.

You'll pass a circle of shallow water as well as some other shallow water islands.
You'll know you've found it once it says "route 128" and you see an island.
Go up onto the beach and up the steps.
Go right, up the next set of steps, and into the cave.

When the path splits, go up.
Go up and over the bridge.
Go left over the bridge and then up.
Go right and up.
Go into the forest.
Go all the way up to the patch of grass.
Raikou is here.
Bad News: Raikou knows Roar. Roar allows Raikou to flee. You are going to need patience and luck to catch it. It took me around 20 tries before the ultra ball worked. My advice is an attack that brings it down to yellow or red and then spam ultra balls. Don't waste time with extra attacks, it will leave. Good luck.

pokemon: Groudon
Fly to Fortree.
Go down and left to the Weather Institute.
Go down and then right over the rocks.
Go down diaganolly to the left.
Then go down the steps onto the rocks.

Welcome to the Lost City. Let's go get Ho-Oh. Feel free to explore this beautiful area some more later. In a cave nearby, there are 2 VERY strong trainers. Have fun. Extra: For anyone who shares my love of dragons: Draogonair can be found in this city, good luck finding one.

You should see a funny looking yellow tree off to the left.

Eventually you will come across a cave.
In this cave is a beautiful and mysterious meadow with yellow trees.
Go down until you see the patch of grass.
This is where Ho-Oh is.
Ho-Oh ranges between around level 44 to level 50.
SUGGESTION: Ho-Oh knows Whirlwind and can flee easily. Go for the higher leveled ones. Once they reach (around level 45?) the right level, Whirlwhind is replaced with a fire attack and they can no longer easily flee. This will save you time and ultra balls.

I caught mine with an ultra ball.

Starting Path for: Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres
The 3 legendary birds are in the same general area. Follow this path to get to that area, and then read below for the path directions for each specific bird.

Fly to Fortree City.
Left to Route 119.
Travel down a short distance until you see the sign. It is just below the Ninja Kid hiding behind a fake tree.
To left of the sign is a path.
Follow it to the small beach and use surf.
Go up. To your left is another small beach with steps. Ignore it, you're going further.
There is an area with multiple small beaches. Surf all the way up.
There is a small beach with 2 rocks on it and some steps. Go up the steps.
Go up, down the steps to the right, and then continue right. Down the next set of steps and back up.
Surf the water and go up the waterfall.
Go left, and the maze begins.
At the start, there is two paths, take the left.
Follow it and continue left.
It splits into a path going down, and a path going up. Go up.
It splits into 3 paths. One off to the left, one going up to the left, and one going up to the right. Take the one going up to the right.
Go up and left until you reach a new path.
Keep going up the path and then up the steps.
You will be on top of a cliff with trees. There are 3 paths. The left, goes to Moltres. The middle goes to Articuno, the right goes to Zapdos.
Pick your poison and let's continue.

pokemon : Moltres (the left path, Go up and read through the starting path for the birds before this)
Enter the cave.
Take the path leading right and up.
Take the very next left.
Go in the cave.
Go around the cave and up.
You will see a lovely island in the middle of lava with a small grassy area.
This is where Moltres is.
Their levels range most commonly from Level 45 to Level 50. Good luck.

pokemon: Zapdos (the right path, Go up and read through the starting path for the birds before this)
Go into the cave (or I guess go down because when you go in, you're standing on a ladder)
Go left, up, and right to the steps leading to the water.
Surf right to the next set of steps.
Go left, surf again and go around to the steps upwards of you.
Go right, down the steps, and surf up to the small beach.
Go in the cave. You're now on a small beach.
Go around the island downwards and then up the steps.
Go up and you will see a patch of grass.
This is where Zapdos is.
They range most common from Level 45 to 50. Good luck.

pokemon: Articuno (the middle path, Go up and read through the starting path for the birds before this)
Go up and into the cave.
Go left and slightly up.
In front of you is the first ice puzzle.
I do not have step by step directions for this ice puzzle. It was difficult for me and I honestly just slid around randomly until I was in the right spot. Sorry and good luck.
Now that you've completed the ice puzzle, go up the ladder.
You are now standing on a ledge on a small island. What surrounds you? Another ice puzzle.
For some reason, this one was easier for me, and I CAN give you step by steps!
There are 2 ways in, we'll just go with the left.
Place yourself in the water tile directly left of the top left corner ledge of the cave you just came out of.
Surf left 2 spots.
Surf up 2 spots.
Go left onto the ice.
Go up to the next rock.
Go left to the next rock.
Go up to the next rock.
Go right to the next rock.
Go down to the next rock.
Finally, go right, up, and right to the bottom of the ladder.
Go up.
This big area has no grass, it is just cave floor.
Walk around it.
This is where Articuno is.
They range most common from level 45 to 50. Good luck.

STILL MISSING:
Lugia (I believe Lugia is AFTER the Elite Four. I will not be getting to this until I have completed the others)
Mewtwo (I actually caught Mewtwo, but it was on a day when I had a friend over and didn't feel like writing down the location. I have tried to find it again and again. So far, no luck. I will continue my search.)
Suicune (Raikou is available, so I am assuming Suicune is too. Just haven't found it yet)
Entei (same excuse as Suicune)

Are there more? Let me know.

If you have a question, need some help with a strategy for catching, or have information I can add to my guide, don't hesitate to let me know. Thank you!

Thank you!

hello this is in regards to find Suicune

pokemon : Suicune
Fly to Lavaridge.
Go all the way right and jump down.
Go up the steps.
Go down the steps to your left.
Go past the first cave you see, up the steps, and into the Fiery Path.
Go up and take the very first path right you see.
Go right all the way and then up.
Go into the cave and go all the way through the path.
Exit the cave and then go left.
Surf up and then go up the waterfall.
Instead of going up and left to the forest where Raikou is, go directly to the right.
Follow the path all the way around and you will come to a cave. Enter the Cave.
Follow that path until you come to a fork in the path. Go to the left.
You will need a pokemon that knows Surf.
Follow the path around and you will find an exit.
Once outside, Surf all the way to the north and you will find a small area of grass. Suicune is here
Suicune: Level 40
Moves:
Bite, Bubblebeam, Rain Dance, Gust

My advice: Put Suicune to sleep and then attack it until its in the red. If it awakens, just put it back to sleep and then start throwing the Ultra Balls

PokePal435 : This is how to find Lugia, if you need any help.
(sorry on how long it is)

Fly to Mauville City
Go all the right then go down
Go straight right
Go right to the island
When you get to the rock, near the guy in red go up
When you're at the ridge go right, until you reach the puddle with the flower above it
Go down a bit, when you see the flower to the right at the bottom of the puddle, go right
Keep going right until you enter a clearing
When you reach the sign that says "Route 123, Route 118" go down
Go left towards the trail then downwards
Go right towards the guy that is blocking the door
If you know the password, he'll let you enter (sorry, but I don't remember where to get the password)
Go in and go across the room, take the door that is at the bottom of the room.
When you go through it, there are stairs that you keep going down.
When you're at the dock, go to the guy and he'll ask if you want to go to DarkOak island, say yes
When at the island, go right then up when at the trees
There should be a lake with dark blue water, go up and left, then up when you get to the trees making a triangle
Go up the stairs then right around the trees to the stairs, when you're at the top of the stairs go around the the trees
Go down then right, go to the puddle then left and down. Go straight down, then right once you past the second bolder on you right.
Go up the stairs, then right and down-go up the stairs
Then right to the other stairs, and go right/up to the pond/lake
Use surf to get the the waterfall, then use waterfall to get to the top.
Go left, then up, then right when you are on land
Go to the cave and enter it.
Go up the stairs then up the other stairs seen also
Go up and around the wall like boulder in the way
Go up, when you see the stairs go down them
Go left to the other stairs then down
Then straight left then up when you can't go anyfarther, then right, then up, go to the ladder
Go right, then up to the stairs, when at the top of the stairs go left, then up, then right, then up again, then right again, go down the stairs and across the bridge
Go down, when at the boulder at the bottom of the stairs go right then up
Then go left to the stairs, when at the top of the stairs go left and down
, to more stairs to go up
Go left next, then down all three stairs, left even more. When the ladder is in view, go up it
Go right up the stairs all of the ones there.
Then down and right
When at the weird looking mound go right to the ladder
When at the water use surf
(There is no need for instruction when in the water, due to it letting you either go up to the next stair case or back to the previous)
When at the little beach go up those stairs
The game will give you the option to go up or down know, go right and down
There should be more stairs leading into the water
Use surf then go right
When on land go right to the wall and up to some more water, use surf again
Go straight up, then up the stairs that are seen (all the stairs)
Go left and up, now there are more stairs go down them, then left again to the other stairs, and down those ones too, then down the final set of stairs
Use surf then go left to the waterfall, also use waterfall
Once at the top, go left to the ladder to go up
You'll be on a snowy mountain top, go down then left and up all the stairs seen
Then left, then down. You'll hear a roar, but keep going down, left some more, then up, follow the dark bluish gray path up to Lugia.
