A few years ago we had a 'Vizzed Awards' thing where we had a bunch of categories and members voted on users for each category and than I tallied up the results to determine who got what award.

Since this vizzed board turns 5 years old this December, I thought the voting of the awards could begin in November, and the choosing of the awards could begin now. So basically we should come up with like 20 categories (and this number is negotiable) that we can use for voting. To see the thread and an example of the categories from years ago, go here

Example categories would be:
Nicest
Most Helpful
Craziest
Scariest
Meanest
Smartest
etc

And basically everyone votes on 3 members for each category and than at the end I tally up which 3 members ranked the top for each cateogory.

Anyways, for now, lets just come up with categories. The voting will begin November 6 and go on until the anniversary day, which is December 6th.

Weirdest
Funnyest.

How about coolest, silliest, funniest, and most artistic.

Most controversial.
Most annoying.
Best "new" member (maybe within last 3 months, or within the last year).
Best layout/signature.
Best avatar.
Best Mini pic.

those are a few ideas I've come up with.

I was also going to suggest "Best New Member" dating back a year.

-"User With Most Donations/Best Contributer" for the site.

I think a really good one would be "User With The Most Games"

Best overall (For you know, just general best)
Most missed (For those who left and didn't come back)
Most "Deserves a price but didn't fit into any category" (The honorary mention price)

Wow some more really good ones, it'll be hard to choose only 20

Might want to avoid bad awards though, some might get offended and would hate to upset anyone.



Cyro: Some of the ones you picked are more like statistics but we can have those too, they'd just be separate and wouldn't require voting.

well.... an award for being an old or young member doesn't work... unless you say "best young member" or "worst older member" sort of thing...
